I looked at their website homepage and the first thing it said, under the image, in capital letters, is we are registering new patients. A couple of paragraphs down it says "Islanders Vets has an Official Vet (OV) who deals with Travels of pets to Europe and outside Europe." So I contacted them to get a quote. We had an email exchange, which completely lacked any customer service, where they asked me questions and didnt even have the courtesy to tell me who I was communicating with. After giving them all of the information they required, they then proceeded to tell me that they were not taking on any new patients. I found them to be rude. They unnecessarily wasted my time when they could have told me from the offset that they were not taking on new clients. They also need to update their homepage.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to say I feel so lucky to have these Chrissy and Rosie looking after my dog. They are exactly what a local vet should be - kind, flexible, and excellent at their job. They were recommended to me by two separate dog owners I met while out walking, and I now recommended them to everyone. I simply can’t understand the negative reviews they have received from some people, as I find them absolutely amazing. And they are independent, so you’re supporting a local business, not a US hedgefund.

Been to many vets over the past 40 years, but Islanders is on another level. All 3 of my dogs have visited on several occasions and each time the service is exceptionally good. Sincerely recommend Islanders for all of your pets need.

I brought my cat here for a tooth extraction and cleaning just a couple weeks ago. The staff here are absolutely lovely and it is very clear that they care for the animals they treat. After the procedure, they were kind enough to charge me for only the cleaning and for medicine, shaving over 200 quid off my total bill. I would very much recommend this practice to others, as it is rare to find a vet who doesn't prioritize profit over the animal's health! Thank you again :)

Great treatment for my lovely little Taz. The practise has great empathy with humans as well as the pets, of course. I would have no issues in recommending Islander Vets to people that I know.
