Great experienced vets treating both the animals and humans with care and love. You can trust their advice, and feel confident you are making the right decision having your pet treated here.

Although it was an ordeal getting my two cats Alfie and Arthur in their carry cases to the vet, the visit was very successful. The veterinary nurse was very helpfull in offering one or two suggestions about the cat's diet. Especially as they seem to be overweight already at nine months. Also very friendly and very knowledgeable. The cats liked her as well especially Alfie.

Welcoming and well organised extremely clean Vet Surgery. Reception staff are always helpful. Every Vet I have met has been kind and very professional. Have had excellent treatment for our dog, from an emergency visit ( broken leg) to more routine visits. Can't fault this practice.

I have been using this veterinary surgery for nearly four decades. From the early days of Hope and Davies to the present day the standards have been excellent. The staff are all highly professional, pleasant to deal with, and very helpful.

I hate writing bad reviews, especially for local businesses. But here we are. I had my dogs registered with this practice for nearly five years. At the beginning, they were excellent — prices were competitive compared to other vets, and they literally saved the life of my puppy more than five years ago when my regular vet refused to see her in an emergency. Even though we weren’t registered at the time, New Malden’s Vets agreed to see her immediately, and I will always be grateful for that. Unfortunately, over time things changed. I was almost never seen on time, they're always late. Prices began increasing quite often, and they became significantly higher compared to other practices. For example, in 2023 I paid nearly £150 for an yearly vaccination as they said booster was required. Despite this, I stayed with them because I trusted them after what they did for my dog. The first time I truly questioned them was last year, when I rushed in with my 1.5kg dog who had been unwell for several days, vomiting, anxious, and dehydrated. I booked the earliest appointment at 8:30am and was offered three treatment plans with suspected pancreatitis: 1.Painkillers and antisickness medication with monitoring at home 2. Admission for the day with IV fluids 3. Admission with IV fluids plus an abdominal scan under anesthesia. The last option was nearly £900! With all three a blood test was discussed, which I requested given her history. The blood test alone was £250. Going home, with fluids injection administrated in the clinic and medication which will last for couple of days the total came to £430! The next day or the day after I discovered she was experiencing a phantom pregnancy — something the vet had not even noticed. Their recent decision to go cashless has been the final straw. While the practice claims this is part of an ongoing commitment to efficiency, I fail to see how it benefits customers when waiting times remain long, prices continue to rise significantly, and no effort was made to consult clients beforehand. A simple poll, feedback request or advance communication could have gauged acceptance of such a change, but instead customer needs were overlooked. Efficiency should not come at the expense of customer choice. Cash remains an important advantage for many, and removing it feels like a disregard for the community they serve. Combined with rising costs, missed diagnoses, and latest experience, I can no longer recommend this practice.

Excellent vets. I have been seeing Elizabeth for several years for my 11.5 year old chihuahua who has complex medical conditions. She is so caring and professional offering excellent advice.

I can’t recommend this vet practice enough. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome from the reception staff, who are always friendly and professional. It instantly puts you at ease. The vet practice as a whole is fantastic. I have recently been seeing Harriet with one of my dogs after his recent heart murmur diagnosis. She is kind, caring, and understanding. She always listens carefully, and explains everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way. It’s obvious she has my dogs’ best interests at heart. In my experience Appointments are easy to arrange, and on the occasions I’ve been especially worried, they’ve even managed to squeeze me in at short notice, which I’ve been so grateful for. The whole team is compassionate, professional, and genuinely dedicated to the animals they care for. I feel very lucky to have such a warm, trustworthy, and supportive practice looking after my dogs. Thank you to everyone.

Been going to this vets for nearly two years and they are brilliant, warm and welcoming. I’ve had to come here for the bad and the good. Treated with compassion and kindness when having to put down my cat back in January which I cannot thank this practice enough. 6 months later I come back with my new addition and he had the best introduction to the vets! I love that the waiting area has been thoughtfully split into cats and dogs to avoid any unwanted stress. Thank you so much to everyone at New Malden vets!
