First visit to Mearley vets in Barrowford. My poor cat has struggled with fur loss and excessive scratching and grooming to the point that she makes herself sore and sick . I’ve visited multiple vet’s in the last 6 years and felt despondent that none of them could help her. All of them told me she had a flea allergy although there was never evidence of this. Chase took time to explain all possible causes and possible treatment options that no one had ever considered .He thoroughly checked her over and was very kind, my little cat was relaxed with him. I now have a plan of action and a positive outlook that this can be managed. The receptionists on the telephone were lovely and listened to my problem even though they didn’t have to. The lady on reception at Barrowford made us feel very welcome and was so kind and friendly.

Catherine has been so incredibly supportive as we have adapted to life with an adopted stray cat. Great communication over a few months and support in getting our very scared cat in at a time to cause limited distress. The vet was very gentle and kind and put my mind at rest. Great service all round, cant recommend highly enough.

I have never been happy with vets. I have always felt they hurt my dog every time (not barrowford) so I was a little anxious about going today. My dog Roxy was seen by Rocco Simone? Honestly I have never come out of a vets happier. I will no longer want another vet only him. I highly recommend. Receptionist also lovely. Ps my dog actually liked him!! When does a dog like a vet? That never happens 😆

First visit. Friendly receptionist. Lovely vet. Very informative and showed a genuine interest in my dog. Will be using permanently and will bring my cats too.

At their Barrowford, Lancashire Practice, but attend others in group. All very clean. Receptionist's very obliging and pleasant, with a welcome smile. Vet, Anne, excellent and thorough. Our dog, Merlin, just loves seeing her. It can't wait to go in at any of the staff and Vets at the practice's attending, which is a good sign of care and attention given. This applied to all animals, birds we have taken there over the years. Note, just a client, not owner.

Amazing little vets - just a heads up when trying to find it that it just looks like an ordinary house door from the outside. Threw us a bit. Saw my cat Toffee as an emergency and quickly diagnosed him and administered a steroid injection which he didn't even notice and prescribed some antibiotics and special flea treatment after an allergy saw him in a bad way. Toffee is bright and happy again and is taking his antibiotics like a trooper. She was kind as was the receptionist and saw to him quickly as she could see he was distressed. She didn't even mind that poor Toff had an accident due to stress. Very reasonably priced and a lovely clean environment. Thank you ❤️
