Medivet isn't my usual vet but was the nearest to me. I had an unwell kitten at night and phoned Medivet Richmond who said they could see me in 30 minutes. When I arrived, the kitten was triage immediately. I was called in by the vet shortly afterwards. Steph was very kind and clear and gentle with the kitten and gave me two options. The fees were very reasonable and the kitten made a full recovery. I was very happy with the service despite it being very busy for the staff.

We cannot thank Eloi enough for everything he did for our puppy. Another vet told us he had aspiration pneumonia, which was extremely worrying and scary for us. Eloi took the time to properly assess him, explain everything clearly, and reassure us with incredible professionalism and knowledge that this was not actually the case. What really stood out was not only his skills and expertise, but also how human, kind, and caring he was throughout the whole process. You can genuinely see how much he loves dogs and truly cares about their health and wellbeing. He made us feel listened to, supported, and much calmer during a very stressful moment. An amazing vet and an amazing person. We are so grateful and would highly recommend Eloi to anyone looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, compassionate, and exceptional at what he does.

I would like to recommend this veterinary clinic from the bottom of my heart. This is without any doubt the best experience I have ever had with any veterinary clinic in my life. They saved the life of my girl and her puppies, all of them, during Boxing Day, in the Christmas holidays. Every single member of staff deserves the highest praise, from the receptionist to the nurses and the vets. The level of empathy, kindness, professionalism and genuine care shown throughout was truly exceptional. At every stage, I felt that my family and our animals were treated with respect, compassion and real concern, not as just another case. Special thanks go to the vet who was looking after Molly. His dedication, knowledge and calm, caring approach literally saved her life. I will be forever grateful for what he did. I cannot thank this clinic enough. If anyone is looking for a place where animals receive outstanding medical care and people are treated with warmth, empathy and humanity, this is the clinic to choose. I recommend them with complete confidence.

I am incredibly grateful to the veterinary team for the compassion and kindness they showed during one of the hardest moments of my life. They treated my dog with dignity, patience, and genuine care, and they made a heartbreaking decision feel as peaceful and loving as possible. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything, answered my questions with empathy, and never rushed us. We brought our 5-day-old newborn kitten to Medivet Richmond in a very critical condition after aspiration pneumonia. His breathing was extremely fast and weak, and we were prepared for the worst. The whole team here was incredibly gentle, caring and calm. They placed him in oxygen immediately, monitored him throughout the night, kept us updated and treated him as if he was their own little baby. Thanks to their professional care, his breathing became stable, his temperature rose back to normal, and today he even started suckling again, something we honestly didn’t expect to happen so soon. We are extremely grateful for the honesty, the communication, and the dedication from both the nurses and the vet. Our kitten would not have survived without their immediate help. Thank you for giving him a chance. Highly recommend this Medivet branch for emergency and newborn care.

We recently moved to this practice from another branch in the same chain after being really impressed with the care they gave our cat Monty. About six months ago he was rushed in with anaphylaxis and every vet we saw was brilliant. They acted quickly, explained everything clearly and I’m sure their fast response saved his life. There were a few complications afterwards but the team handled everything really well. Everyone we dealt with was professional, kind and reassuring. We’ve just been back for Monty’s six month check up and saw a new vet, Henry, who was absolutely excellent. He took his time with Monty, gave him a very thorough examination and explained everything in a clear and calm way. He was gentle, professional and you could tell he genuinely cared. It’s always reassuring when a vet takes that much care and attention, and Monty was completely relaxed with him. Monty got a clean bill of health which we’re so pleased about. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming too. We honestly can’t fault this practice. It’s a shame to see a few negative reviews as being a 24 hour hospital they probably deal with the tougher and more expensive emergency cases. From our experience they’ve been caring, skilled and completely professional. We’re very grateful for everything they’ve done for Monty.
