Our husky maya was seen quickly as an out if hours emergency by a really friendly patient vet. Lovely clean space. Was kept informed with regular updates. Could not have been treated any better.

Horrible service. My cat had c section n spaying, cost 2k. Thats fine i paid for it in cash. N they said the meds and two more consultation will be free. Unfortunately their meds made cat start to vomit n get worse by not eating. During the free consultation i raised this issue, the vet insisted in giving a jab, and then a 5day meds and charged me 70+ pounds separately, when her vomiting was caused by their own meds the frst time round. I asked for the resolve my cat vomiting bcoz of their painkiller metacam and she made me take an injection for my cat then gave me a fatt bill!!!. They ddnt even tell they’d charge me for it or how much it was just did whatever they wanted presumably bcoz i paid 2k cash so they think my money grows on a tree. I refused to pay for it bcoz they did not inform me prior and the fact tat they said meds would be free for the procedure and then it caused my cat to worsen. Then they removed me from their vet service and my regular vet wont see my cat for follow up for the procedure bcoz medivet did tge pricedure. And they owed me another free consultation from the 2k plus procedure, which they ddnt give me and has caused me so much of trouble !! They just want to empty my pockets just bcoz i paid myself for the procedure. A bunch of jerk vets.

I recently took my 2 year old Dachshund Charlie to Hillcrest, as he is notorious for eating things he shouldn’t, and showed symptoms of a blockage in his intestines/bowel. They were quick to diagnose this and performed the emergency operation and treatment within 24 hours. At all times the Vets/nurses and reception staff were professional and supportive and kept me informed at all stages of his treatment. I cannot recommend Hillcrest highly enough, should you need any treatment for your pet.

Staff were lovely, supportive, and helpful. Ive had previously bad experiences with different vets. But this practice has changed my opinion and outlook about my previous experiences. In an emergency didn’t hesitate to help my cat get the right treatment and reassured my stress and worry. Never been more appreciative, behalf of all loved pets, this is the place to register with. They will help regardless of time, staffing, and frantic pet lovers ❤️

Had to take our cat Toby for emergency care tonight with his breathing. Literally from the minute we arrived they were waiting at the door for us because it was a breathing problem, took him straight in for oxygen. This isn’t our normal vet but we will be changing to this vet for future appointments. They were brilliant, gave us updates on how he was doing, let us see him, gave us advice. The care was 100%. The vet was brilliant and Yvonne the vet nurse was fantastic spent so much time with us to help make some difficult decisions, spoke through options etc she was so caring. We are not out of the woods just yet but they deserve a brilliant review for the care given so far. Thank you

We recently faced the heartbreaking inevitable step over the rainbow bridge for our beloved 12-year-old Brussels Griffon. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the reception staff—they recognized our distress instantly and saw us right away. A special thank you goes to the veterinary nurse who supported us with such compassion and gentleness as we made the final decision. Your kindness meant the world to us

Our pug was hit and ran over in the street outside our house in a quiet cul-de-sac. We took our dog to Vets for Pets in Wigan where the treatment was second to none. We got transferred to Chorley as it was a 24 hour surgery and our dog still needed to be operated on. Our pug was operated on 22 hours later. He lay there with his pelvis broken in 3 places. He had surgery at 4pm, had three breaks fixed and a screw in his pelvis into his spine to hold everything together. Can’t thank the surgeon enough. The surgeon finished surgery, it couldn’t have gone any better and left our pug, he was awake and well onto his path to recovery. Then came the night shift. The young boy who was in for the night shift decided he didn’t want to do any work on night shift and didn’t do any checks on our pug until 00:45. Our pug came out of surgery at 5pm. 7 hours 45 minutes without a check up. Our pug then died at 2am after multiple resuscitation attempts. They had a duty of care and they violated it. I haven’t ever seen such a shambles of a vets in my whole lifetime. The lack of remorse or empathy. The laboured looks on the faces of the people who worked there when you walk in with a sick animal. Not just an animal, your everything. I advise all who read this and all who have the choice, go elsewhere. Your pets are not safe here. They are not well looked after. They do not care. This is just a job to the staff. They turn up. They leave. They get paid. There will be an upcoming lawsuit for them to deal with due to the gross negligence of my dog. Don’t let that be your pet.

There is very suitable working hours 24/7. The Chris was find the reason of our cat sick. We should not give medcine through the stomack, we start making injecktion instead as tablets and liquids irritate and make werse pancreatis. Now the our cat, i hope that, is healing slowly.
