Medivet - Eccleston (Hillcrest)

Excellent practice very carrying and understanding vets Amy and Jen who are excellent with my very reactive dog

I’m very pleased with the service we received during the 6 monthly check up of our Cockapoo. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Eccleston practice.

Having just moved to Eccleston I took my dogs Ralph and Nellie for their annual immunisations to Medivet I was impressed by the welcoming attitude of Karen the receptionist who explained everything regarding the practice The Vet we saw was lovely and interested in my 2 rescue dogs very caring and both dogs were happy to be examined by her I would recommend this practice x

We moved into the area recently and they made us and most importantly our boys 🐱🐱 feel so welcome ♥️ .. so important to find a wonderful vet x

Professional and caring service. Eccleston have looked after my cats for the last three years. The vets are very knowledgeable and real animal lovers dedicated to the best treatment for your pet. I have seen Trina & Chris in the past and also Alison who went beyond the call of duty actually dropping some antibiotics off at my house as I was going on holiday the next day and I couldn’t get to the Chorley practice. Sadly my last visit was to have my cat Amber put to sleep as the diabetes had taken its toll and Jenny was so supportive and caring making it a calm and peaceful experience. Also Karen the receptionist is the best - friendly, approachable and always has the right words at a sad time. I have no hesitation in recommending the team to look after your beloved pets.

Booked through the Chorley branch as the lines were bust at Eccleston. Seems well organised though & receptionist was very helpful. At Hillcrest the staff were professional & I just had about 20-30min wait to be seen, I think there was only one veterinarian in that morning. She was great with my cat & it all went well. I just found that the furniture seemed a bit sparse inside & the decor quite cold if that makes any sense, seemed a bit empty & I actually was freezing that day & no radio or anything playing as you wait. So there was just that made it not as friendly and welcoming as others I've been to, but the most important things like the receptionist there and the vet were lovely so that's all that matters really.

Would give 0 stars if possible. We rang with an emergency as our dog was having seizures. The receptionist was rude and put us on hold for 10 minutes to answer other calls. We were forced to hang up and call Vets Now which were much more helpful.
