Was given Bravecto for a large cat instead of a small dog. Good that we checked as the picture of a cat was covered by there prescription sticker. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in this scenario. This shouldn't happen. My trust for them doing anything more complex leaves me questioning there ability. Another thing which is very strange, why advertise urns and cremation options in the lobby by the reception. It's like walking into a hospital and seeing coffins advertised. Give a leaflet if something unfortunate happens, but to advertise it. Very strange and uncomfortable seeing.

My pet cat was treated so well his whole life here and sadly had to be put to sleep at the ripe age of nearly 16. The staff and vets were so nice and went out of there way to help and make everything as easy and less upsetting as possible. They were all amazing and I am very grateful to them. They also helped me with the insurance. This practice obviously cares a lot about every aspect of pets and owners. I would never go anywhere else.

Nice easy place to use and park. Theo the vet that saw my dog today (Honey) is a really nice and approachable person. The admin staff were very accommodating and accessibility was very good. Keep up the good work.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a really big thank you to Cat who showed such compassion when we had to bring our elderly dog in to be euthanised as an emergency case. Cat hadn't met our dog before but, when his health suddenly and seriously deteriorated, we knew we couldn't wait until the morning to see his regular vet. Cat was kind, calm and empathetic. She informed us of the process and made sure we spent time with our dog before, during and afterwards. Thank you Cat. It was a very sad time for us but your kindness helped us a great deal.

My dogs have always had the best care and treatment. They take the extra time and consideration to help my dogs remain calm and comfortable. They listen to any concerns I may have about their health and will discuss options, involving me in the decision process. I feel very happy with the care my dogs have received and would highly recommend them.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the amazing team at Medivet for looking after my cat, Jaguar. He was very poorly with a low temperature, not eating or drinking, and having respiratory problems, but the team were so kind, caring, and professional. We’ve made progress with Jaguar and I’m hoping once we get his swab test back we can get him started on treatment for his respiratory issues. The team at Medivet kept me updated throughout, which really helped put my mind at ease. When I collected Jaguar today, he looked so much better — I could tell he’d been truly cared for. I’m so grateful to everyone at Medivet for their compassion and dedication. It’s really clear they love what they do. Highly recommend them ⭐

I was placed in the horrid position of having to take my beloved cat here on a Sunday evening when she suddenly became ill without warning. She was seen by the vet within minutes and we were kept up to date. Sadly she had saddle thrombus, and I was forced to make the decision to have my best friend of 15 years put to sleep. The vet was very understanding, very clearly explained what was happening and gave a clear prognosis which helped guide that decision in such a short space of time. She allowed my cats whole family to say goodbye and be surrounded by the people she loved most in the world and then give her the quiet, dignified end she deserved with me by her side. My heart is broken, but my best friend was able to cross the rainbow bridge without knowing suffering til the very end or her happy life with us. Thank you for giving that to her. I'll miss her forever, but ill always be able to remember her at her strongest, bossiest and lovliest.

The vet was great! Knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. Reception lady also lovely. Thank-you for helping my dog! Easy to book last minute appointment too. We were in the area on holiday so it was a bit stressful but I’m happy to say Teddy is doing much better and even enjoyed an open-top bus journey to Swanage!
