I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the wonderful lady (Shelley Jackman) at Natterjacks who assisted my mother and me today when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Bo. At such a difficult and emotional time, she showed exceptional compassion, kindness, and understanding. Her gentle manner, patience, and care made an incredibly painful experience a little easier to bear. She treated both us and Bo with dignity and respect. She is an absolute credit to Natterjacks, and we are so thankful for the support she gave us during one of the hardest days a pet owner can face. Thank you for your kindness and for helping us say goodbye to Bo with such care.

Thank you for looking after Paddy in his final days. We appreciated your compassion and care for paddy and us. We were devastated to lose him after 14 years but you made the process as peaceful as you could for him.

We cannot recommend the vets at Natterjacks highly enough. We have two rescue dogs with a complicated background and previously had a rescue cat, so finding a practice that truly understands both the animals and us as owners is incredibly important to us. The care we have received has been exemplary. We have seen several different vets over time and have always been met with the same thoughtful, compassionate and consistent approach. That consistency really speaks to a strong culture of care within the practice, and it gives us complete confidence that our pets are always in safe and knowledgeable hands. We would like to give particular thanks to Caitlin and Shelley, who saw our dogs recently. They were kind, patient and genuinely understanding of our dogs’ needs, taking the time to listen and explain everything clearly. At every stage, the advice and treatment have clearly been guided by what is in the best interests of the animals and not a desire to make money. Thank you to the whole team for the outstanding care and support you provide to both pets and their owners.

Alice is such a wonderful vet, she is so kind and caring to both my cat and myself. Especially as he gets in such a state and physically shakes. I have always been involved with his care and haven’t been made to feel uncomfortable as I really didn’t want him to have an operation if it could possibly be avoided. Fortunately he has recovered. And all the staff I have come in contact with have been extremely helpful

Been with Natterjacks since moving to Poole for 8 years and never had a vets practice that greet you so warmly and with such empathy and their care for your pets is outstanding. I can honestly say it’s not all about the money but the well being of your much loved pet

Vets that genuinely care for your animals when they're well and unwell. Our cats and rabbits have excellent care here and we would recommend Julian and Sarah to everyone who needs a vet. Our grateful thanks for all of their efforts for our furry family over the years.

We registered both our small dogs with Natterjacks about five years ago after moving to the area. I’d always heard great things about them, but having come from an excellent previous vet, I wasn’t sure any practice could top it. Well—Natterjacks in Poole absolutely have, and they continue to impress us! Booking appointments is always straightforward, and when something urgent has come up, they’ve consistently offered same-day appointments—which really makes a difference. The reception team is always friendly and welcoming, and the nurses and vets are just as lovely. I never thought I’d say this, but our little dog Chester loves going to the vet (mainly for the cuddles!), which definitely helps ease any stress. They’ve also been incredibly kind and understanding with our older, anxious dog Millie—so patient and gentle with her every time. Pricing is more than fair. I usually brace myself when it comes to the bill, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised more often than not. Hands down, the best vet practice around. Thank you so much to the whole team for the amazing care you provide—your love for animals truly shows.
