We cannot thank the team at Dogwood Referrals enough for everything they have done for Daisy and our family. When Daisy was diagnosed with Stage 4 IVDD and needed emergency spinal surgery, it was one of the most frightening and emotional experiences we've ever faced. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team showed incredible compassion, kindness and professionalism. Tom, the nurses, Emma and the rest of physiotherapists and hydrotherapy team have all been amazing. Not only is their knowledge and expertise outstanding, but they genuinely care about every patient and owner who walks through the door. They took the time to answer our endless questions, reassure us when we were worried and support us through every stage of Daisy's recovery. 22 weeks on, Daisy has made incredible progress. She is walking again, now having monthly hydrotherapy sessions and continues to improve thanks to the care, treatment and rehabilitation plan they have provided. We will always be grateful for the skill, dedication and compassion shown by everyone at Dogwood. We would recommend them without hesitation. We cannot thank them enough for giving Daisy the chance to walk again. 🐾❤️

Our schnoodle Fonzie was hit by a car and suffered a dislocated hip. We were referred by our vets to Dogwood where he had hip toggle surgery to stabilise the joint. He's had his 7 weeks check up today and it's all healed beautifully and he's using it really well. The quote we were given at our initial consultation included everything - x-rays, surgery with an overnight stay, medications and check-ups so we knew up front exactly how much it was going to cost. Tom and the team were professional, reassuring and caring to Fonzie, and us too, at a very stressful time and we're so relieved that he's now well on the way to a full recovery.

My mum's dog was referred to Dogwood by her usual vet for cruciate ligament surgery. The care she got was amazing, everything was fully explained, all concerns addressed and the surgery and recovery have gone incredibly well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dogwood.

Our girl Lola was referred to Tom at Dogwood 8 months ago for cruciate surgery, 12 months after her other cruciate went. First surgery was textbook. All went well initially for the second one but then for some reason she kept having leg swelling caused by an internal infection. She had antibiotics but this didn’t solve it so she had another plate inserted and the previous one removed, with antibiotic sponge inserted as well. She recovered much quicker after this second plate and she’s just had another check up and all is well. Tom is pleased with her recovery especially as she is 12. Tom and the staff have been amazing, any problems or worries and he’s straight on the phone for a chat. He really does care for your pets and this really comes across when u see him, u don’t feel rushed. And most of all, Lola really does like Tom. Thank you all for really looking after my girl it’s much appreciated and I would highly really Dogwood.

We were very impressed with the care and treatment our young dog had at Dogwood. The treatment plan and scans were explained to us fully and going forward we felt our dog was in excellent hands. The anxiety we felt when we arrived was much less as we left with her. We know that our dog will be well cared for here. All of the staff were extremely helpful, and friendly.

5 stars for the veterinary practice who saved my dachshund from potential life long paralysis. We were rushed to Dogwood Referrals after Hector collapsed and his IVDD escalated to a serious stage 5 with no DPS. Tom had a very frank discussion with us, which was daunting but also really appreciated so we knew where we stood and what our options were. Hector underwent spinal surgery and stayed at the practice for 1 night. I was very anxious and upset during this period but the whole team were really supportive and gave plenty of advice. Within a few days we noted movement from Hector, and a week post op he was standing. We’re now 5 weeks post op and he can walk really well with just a slight hobble. Considering how badly his condition had deteriorated I cannot believe the progress he has made, and I am forever grateful to Tom and the team. Hector has had physio at the practice too, which has been really helpful. Highly recommend this practice. The biggest thank you to Dogwood Referrals!! 🌟

We were referred here via our usual vet for a suspected cruciate ligament injury in our whippet Pippa after sudden lameness after running around a field. Our experience has been nothing but positive with Dogwood, the vet is very knowledgeable and you can tell he cares a lot about his patients both four and two legged. Pippa is recovering very well, and we are extremely thankful to all of the staff at Dogwood.
