Had an appointment with Vet Emma to give my dog a check-up. She is always so lovely with him and so are all the staff. He actually loves going to the Vets!!

Wonderful, accomodating and friendly staff. First consultation is free for each pet which was a delightful bonus. Going forwards at £60 per hour for a consultation is extremely high and it's no wonder the government are getting involved to control vet practice costs. Sensibly they do encourage having the prescription bought elsewhere which is helpful. Parking wasn't an issue but there are limited spaces.

Medivet Weymouth are friendly and helpful. My boy loves going but my girl is vet phobic 😂 I take her to Titch's appointments for his epilepsy. Hopefully she will get better with time. The staff spend time to reassure her, they are lovely

Absolutely amazing. Very kind and caring Well what can I say --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The team at Medivet Weymouth are truly exceptional. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re met with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine love for animals. The vets take the time to explain everything clearly and thoughtfully, never rushing, and always making sure you feel confident about your pet’s care. The nurses and reception staff are just as wonderful — friendly, reassuring, and incredibly patient, even during the more stressful visits. You can tell they work seamlessly as a team, and that they really do put the wellbeing of every animal first. It’s rare to find a practice where you feel completely supported, listened to, and cared for, but Medivet Weymouth manages it effortlessly. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done and wouldn’t trust my little dog Sparky with anyone else

Absolutely appalling experience My dog suffered a permanent injury while under this practice’s care, and I was met with no concern or accountability from the staff involved. She was admitted to Medivet on 15 August 2025 at 8:30am with full hearing. By the afternoon, following an operation, she had completely lost her hearing. Instead of investigating or taking responsibility, the matter was dismissed, and communication since has been extremely poor. My dog has been left frightened and traumatised, and after I raised a formal complaint regarding her treatment and injury, the practice refused to continue her care. This has been a deeply distressing experience. I strongly encourage other pet owners to make thorough enquiries and read reviews before trusting this clinic with their animals.
