As always a good experience for both my cat and me. There is a separate and comfortable " cat corner " where cats are not disturbed by other animals. The appointment was on time and my cat was well cared for and thoroughly examined. ( It was a routine check up.) He thoroughly enjoyed the care and attention. The vet found and removed a tiny tick and very kindly carried my heavy pet carrier out and put it in my car. I have been bringing my pets to this surgery for about 28 years and have always been happy with the care they've received and the friendliness and support I've been given.

Had a brilliant experience. Camille the vet is so kind and informative and reassuring. The receptionist as well who was on today was so kind and helpful. My pet was very comfortable and happy there. Felt like we were really being looked after. Thankyou.

What an amazing practice. We couldn’t recommend Andy and the team enough. Andy has helped us so much with our frenchie. The nurses are so kind and the receptionist are so nice and remember us! Great attention to detail and I feel totally safe leaving my boy at the vets as he has had some operations recently. Thanks guys!

After having a few issues with this practise (high expense and poor quality of health checks), our recent interaction with vet Holly Asquith-Barnes during a vaccination appointment for our dog has secured our decision in leaving this practise, which is a real shame as the rest of the team have been really helpful and friendly up until this point. Despite our last appointment only being a few days before, Dr Asquith-Barnes had not properly read the notes left by the last vet we saw regarding our dog’s pain trial and was unaware that the pain trial was being provided by that practise. She proceeded to administer his vaccination in the leg he has been experiencing pain in. Her overall manner with our dog was incredibly rude, pretentious and unprofessional. People shouldn’t be in the animal care industry if they’re more focused on how ‘well-behaved’ your dog is during an appointment than how they can provide them with help and care when they are struggling. Having just turned 2, our young dog still finds trips to the vet very exciting and struggles to contain his excitement around new people - something we are working on with regular training but he can still become overwhelmed in exciting situations. Many dogs struggle to stay perfectly still while being examined, and Dr Asquith-Barnes made it perfectly clear that our dog’s excitement was not welcome in her treatment room (following a rude comment and sour facial expression when he jumped up to say hello to her twice). I’m not condoning the behaviour, but it can surely at least be considered as an occupational hazard, especially considering the excitement of the environment. We’ve worked really hard to help train our dog for these situations, but we felt as if our dog and ourselves as dog owners were being judged for him not having perfect behaviour. It is worth noting that all other vets we’ve seen at this practise have handled our dog’s excitable personality in such a professional and friendly manner, helping to settle him and make him comfortable enough to be examined. Along with the high expense and inconsistency in communication between the vet staff, this encounter has lost our faith in the practise, so we won’t be returning. We suggest that if you are a regular client, appointments with Dr Asquith-Barnes are avoided in particular.

I do understand the need for ratings and publicity but this practice has an excellent reputation and never fails and is the best place to take your pets. All the vets look after our pets with confidence and care. Highly recommended.

Been with them for 6 years and never had a problem. Tried to cancel my plan today and the head receptionist (or just the old one) had a proper attitude about her of which I did not appreciate. Shame because everyone else is lovely. Will be leaving and going elsewhere because of it.

Vet Andy's care and compassion with rescue Oscar over the past three years has been amazing giving this little dog a chance to live a normal life. This is a very friendly, caring practice and I would like to thank every member of staff for the care of my dogs over the years, cannot recommend you high enough.

Everyone at this vets is helpful, thoughtful and professional, as well as being friendly, kind and caring. From the reception team, to the nurses and vets they are all special and make what can be a very traumatic time much more bearable. It seems that nothing is too much trouble and our pets, and we, are in the safest hands. The area for cats is quiet and calmer. Our cat Mooli has had several visits recently, had surgery, and follow up visits, and although clearly scared, he has allowed the vet to treat him, and examine him , and remained calm and cooperative ! Andrew Buchan has the nicest way with Mooli. Thanks. After treatment, Mooli is happy to be friendly to the other staff ! We are very thankful for having such an excellent vet clinic .
