Oakfield Veterinary Group - Tamworth

We have recently moved to the area and booked in since our dog had some issues. They were super supportive but also to the point, didn't feel for a moment that we were being messed about (which we felt all the time at our previous vets). Would certainly recommend,

Oakfield Vets are absolutely brilliant! Whether it’s the Atherstone branch—where we usually take our girl, Mooch—or the Tamworth branch, where we went for the first time yesterday, the service is consistently outstanding. I was so worried because Mooch had a bleeding abscess, but the team was fantastic. The vet was incredibly kind and gentle with her, taking the time to answer all our questions and put our minds at ease. Since Mooch won't take tablets, they were very helpful in providing her oral painkillers and antibiotics in liquid form instead. The front-of-house staff were equally lovely and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It’s a fantastic practice that truly puts the care of much-loved pets first. I can't thank them enough for looking after Moochie Mooka Maluga Kathy Kathy CatFace Rex BattleCat Lyons-McHugh so well!

As always found the whole experience with Charlie very relaxed as I know he can be very temperamental. Lisa always takes care of him and her professionalism shines through, making it less stressful for Charlie. Thankyou to Lisa, vet Nurse.

All staff and vets are really helpful and friendly. Our dog is nervous with treatments and they are really gentle with her. There is a separate waiting area for cats and small animals which is a good idea.

Welcoming friendly team in person or over the phone. Laura is fantastic she understands my dog’s anxieties, everything is always clearly explained. Always feel he is in safe hands.

Unfortunately we met a very rude person on a reception desk, women over 40 years old with lip piercing. She raised a voice and mage me feel so uncomfortable even if question was sensible and polite. She asked to deal with us other workers after we finish our appointment, but it wasn't nice at all. We booked a dental service for December but I am not sure if we want to come back there. As a person with disability I will struggle to deal with this worker.

Grabbed our £75 for a 2 minute consultation, but the poor dog needs an op ASAP. After 5 days no price no date. How would u like a tumor hanging out of your eye socket. DOGS LIFES MATTER!!!!!!! POOR VERY POOR..
