From the person who initially answered the phone, through making the appointment, to the vets sympathetic and gentle manner, treatment and final prescription everything went smoothly, happy dog.

Been attending this veterinary for years for my cat and dog. Had some ups and downs with some vets but mostly the vets have great knowledge and listen to your concerns. Being on the best plan provides unlimited consultations which alone is very very cost effective especially if you need return visits. I have attended both surgeries in Welling and Sidcup. All the reception and back office teams are very good, surgeries are clean and vets are understanding. Recent visits to Welling surgery has resulted in seeing a new vet who has reviewed my dog's wellbeing. This has resulted in her giving new medication which is looking promising!! I would recommend this vet.

Went to this veterinary practice last week because my cat was constantly itching. I told them that she might have fleas, as she had suffered from them before, but I was told that she was clean. They gave her an injection for flea dermatitis, which most likely wasn’t needed at all. When I got home and checked my cat myself, I found an incredible amount of fleas on her. I asked ChatGPT what to do, and it helped me understand all the stages: how to treat my home against fleas, what to do, and for how long I should take my cat away. I then called the clinic to book proper flea treatment, as we were running out and because at the appointment they said they could give her a better one. However, because I had already given her flea treatment the day before (as they never got back to me about when the new one would be ready), when I came to the centre today they refused to give me the new treatment. They also initially prepared the wrong product — a one-month treatment instead of a three-month one — and if I hadn’t called the vet to clarify, they would have given it to me without any issue. After speaking with the doctor, they said they were worried I might overdose my cat. Don’t get me wrong — I love my cat and would never do something like that. But it’s strange that they are worried about overdosing, yet had no concern about giving an injection that may not have been needed in the first place. I am very disappointed. I spent a lot of time on the phone and at the vet centre for no reason. The injection was supposed to stop her itching, but it didn’t help at all. I paid £100 for nothing, and at the end of the day I did not receive good service — just wasted time. Not recommended at all. Please be careful.

I was really pleased by the nurse Kate. She gave me very useful information explaining things in simple terms for me, which I needed as well as helpful advice for my pet.. She was also extremely patient with my endless questions.

Just rude staff, I'm a very patient person, and I never compalin if I have to wait a few minutes and sometime it happens, in busy lifes to have to wait. But this time I was 5 minutes late and they made me wait 50 minutes, the nurse said , that because I was late I had to wait, but I also had 2 appointments, because I have 2 cats, so the first appointement at 3:15pm I was late 5 minutes and they didn't let me go in , but for the second appointment, at 3:45pm, they where 25 minutes late. At the end, because I had work booked in, I couldn't stay and I had to rebook the vaccinations. Just rude. There was also, some sort of misscommunication within them, apparently the excuse was an emergancy, but the nurse was just backed up and she was running late. Don't waste your time and money with this Vets , not worth it.

On the 9th May our Jack Russell (Pickles) went into labour at home. We were originally told she was expecting 2-3 pups, so when the first one got stuck coming out feet first we were in a state of sheer panic. My wife rang Oval Pet Care who advised us to rush down. Well what can I say… we were rushed through on arrival and spent the next 4 hrs with the vet and the nurse and treated like royalty, and despite they normally close at 5.30pm, we actuall left there at 7pm. Despite all their help and care, two of the pups sadly breached and passed. But I am pleased to say Pickles is a mum now of 5 healthy boys 👏👏👏. Thanks guys five star service

Sadly we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have our 16 year old Springer Spaniel “Lara” put to sleep on Monday 4th November at the Welling branch. Marta the vet was amazing in supporting our choice taking into consideration Lara’s Quality of Life, she offered Lara chocolate as a “last treat” before she fell asleep in my arms for the last time. They made Lara’s final moments as stress free and peaceful as possible. Thank you so much to Marta, Karis and the whole team for all their hard work, support and overall their kindness at this difficult time. We’ll miss you Lara❤️xxx
