his paw pad. We rang on a Saturday for some advice and went in to collect some bandages to help keep him comfortable. The nurse who helped us was so kind and even recommended where we could get a protective pet boot, which worked perfectly. We really appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell us or push unnecessary treatment — you could genuinely tell they cared about our dog. Thank you so much for your help and kindness.

Excellent Vet Practice! Couldn't recommend them more! Our dog had an op in a vet hospital. He was discharged, we left the hospital and later we realised we had forgotten to collect his medication. We were too far to turn back. We called Ryedale Vets who were happy to stay open in order to give us the medication. Life savers for a much needed pain relief for our dog.

Took Harvey my Border Collie for a stomach issue that turned out to be a major issue. I have to say the service was exceptional from the start at both sites, Pickering and Helmsley. It became very clear right from the beginning that the welfare of Harvey was paramount and not how much they could make out of the situation. Harvey's best interests were forefront of their minds and it was very refreshing to see. Harvey was impressed too, in fact everyday when we walk past the door he tries to go in !!! Thank you Ryedale Vets, I would recommend you to anyone.

We had to take our Bulldog Lilly, here at very short notice on the first day of her holiday after her eye became swollen and inflected. Despite it being nearly closing time they made time to do a thorough examination and treatment and arranged to see her later that week. We were not registered with them but they were very kind and professional. I would highly recommend this practice.

Eastgate vets in Pickering have always been wonderful in my experience. My cats were always looked after promptly with kindness and compassion and I always felt that they were receiving the best care available at a fair and reasonable price. Thank you to all at Eastgate Vetinary Surgery from Spikey and Norman.
