Got charged £465 for 1 home visit behavioural vet appointment, max 2-3 hours including travel! The behaviourist did not even demonstrate or help with progressing the dog further, even though I demonstrated I could do the things she recommended started with. The appointment COULD have been done on video given the little interaction that actually happened, though they wanted to charge me over £200 to come out and then not do any demonstrating of any behavioural work. The only time she interacted with the dog was to feed him treats, which I've been able to do since day 1 really. Highly unrecommended behavioural work here.

Many thanks to Clinician Rebecca, to the vetinary nurses, and receptionists, for all your help caring for our two cats, improving their quality of life in their latter years. Our family used this practice some years ago back in the 90's and it is good to return, and find a caring professional environment continuing in demonstrating their vetinary skills, knowledge, and expertise. The Wenlock practice is well worth our travelling that extra mile, to experience such excellent service.

Around 9 and a half years ago I had to have my German shepherd put to sleep. KY, this practice intravenously put my dog to sleep. My dog did show real signs of distress. I do believe they should have sedated my dog intramuscularly before administering the fatal drug.. I've since had to do a similar thing abroad where the animal was sedated and it passed away peacefully. This practice needs to amend its policy for the good of the animal. If you have to make this heart rendering decision, make sure the procedure is respectful for the animal. We and ky were failed. RIP big boy How do you know they are good ! The animal cannot tell you. You and your pet are at their mercy, and you are vulnerable. They failed in their duty of care, and professionalism. Will never forget the experience. We now use Turn Hill vets Newport

Took my 10 year old cat for a checkup as she had some health concerns, had a 20 min appointment, plus blood test, had to pay £260. Absolutely ridiculous! I don't feel like I got my moneys worth at all. Got some guesses, inconclusive blood test with an offer for antibiotics that "might help". The staff are nice but the pricing is insane.

STAFF AND NURSES 10 OUT OF 10 however (and it pains me to write this) after many years with this vets the major issue has become the slow hiking of prices due to the increasing issues heard in parliment and across the media which boils down to the nation wide corporate ownership of the group...550 quote for a grass seed....650 for spaying of a 18kg dog.....plus extras which are not needed....i have worked and bred animals for over 20 years and not once in all the years of going to a vet have I EVER seen one of those posters saying 'our staff will not tolerate abuse' which suggests there have been increasing instances where people have argued or got frustrated at pricing. Which at seven edge is not the staffs fault but some faceless middle.manager share holder pushing for profit over and above the welfare of those on the front line trying to help people like me.....as I say...staff superb and amazing 10 out of 10....upper management less so.....thankfully there are now independent vet options in Much Wenlock which are OUTSTANDING and fair and well priced and just like vets were back in the day.
