We were very lucky today that this vet allowed us to have an appointment with them when our existing vets have no weekend service. They were incredibly kind and supportive throughout a very difficult experience. Cannot thank them enough for their kindness and help and would 100 percent recommend them

We have only recently joined Swanzdale vets and our experience has been second to none. Such kind and caring staff, our anxious Labrador was happy when he left. Highly recommend the practice and so glad we made the change.

Professional practice, lovely staff. One of my cats was struggling in labour, they told me to bring her in immediately. They performed an emergency cesarean, saving my cat and her kittens lives. Forever grateful ♥️

Once again, Swanzdale vets have shown what an excellent, caring service they provide. My dog is elderly and Swanzdale are always there to advice with his problems and provide the care needed. The receptionists, nurses and vets are all efficient and compassionate. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

My dearly loved boxer Ruby was taken ill very suddenly. I contacted Swanzdale Vets immediately and they certainly pulled out all the stops in an effort to discover the problem. Although Ruby ultimately died that evening, I know that the vets who were looking after her did all they could to save her life. I would certainly recommend this practice.

What a great Vet Practice! While on holiday in Scarborough our Cockerpoo became sick. The caring receptionist was very understanding and arranged for her to be seen by Matt, (even though it was a Saturday and we weren't registered with them). Matt was amazing with our pooch and us, he quickly identified the issue and provided the necessary treatment. I can not praise the wonderful staff enough - THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Scarborough you are lucky to have Swanzdale Veterinary Care Centre!!

This week we sadly needed an emergency vet for our 8 year old Irish Setter, Phoebe, who was taken ill very quickly whilst we were away from home. Whilst the whole situation was obviously very upsetting, we could not fault the Swanzdale Care Centre. From the first call to Matthew ( at a very late hour), then the subsequent consultation, scans and x rays we felt confident in the diagnosis and care that Phoebe was given if only for a short time. Matthew made the whole process as bearable as possible even though it was so upsetting, and not the outcome we would have hoped for. We cannot thank him and his colleague, Jim enough for the care that Phoebe was given and the length that Matthew went to, to explain the situation. If we lived closer we would not hesitate to choose this Vets for our other Irish Setter, Lincoln. Thank you , Wendy and Peter Gardner

I have officially removed my kitten from this vet due to a complete lack of proper care and communication. Recently, he was admitted for routine neutering. The staff gave him a powerful premed overseeing that in his physical exam, his testicles hadn't descended and the surgery couldn't go ahead. Putting a young animal through the medical risks of unnecessary sedation due to a lazy oversight is completely unacceptable. We were also messed around for months with changing timelines for this surgery, costing us a fortune in taxi fares. This follows a previous incident where they immediately pushed incredibly expensive prescription diets and antibiotics for a bout of diarrhea, completely ignoring basic food sensitivities. We solved the issue ourselves later by simply switching his normal dry food brand. They are quick to charge you and slow to provide basic, competent care. Moving to a new vet immediately.
