I had a really positive experience when I recently took my cat to Pet Practice at Wallisdown in Bournemouth. My cat was quite ill and needed emergency surgery. The vet was wonderful with my cat and explained everything to me simply. She was very calm and professional and efficient. The lady at reception was also very nice, she could see I was anxious about my cat and offered reassurance in a kind and friendly way. The nurse who saw me when I picked up my cat was also very nice, explained clearly about my cat’s medicine and how I would look after her. I was reassured all the way through and invited to call if I had any concerns. This is an amazing place, very lovely and professional team. Thoroughly recommend!

I’ve been coming to this vet for quite a while now and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Hannah and the whole team are incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely caring. My dog can be quite nervous, but Hannah is always so patient and gentle with him, which makes a huge difference. I never feel rushed and I always know he’s in safe hands. It’s such a relief knowing they really look after him!

Without a doubt simply the best veterinary clinic we have ever been to. Provided excellent services in end of life care for our pet ‘Indy’ over the course of 10 days. We were not from the Bournemouth area but they took us on and assisted us with what was a very difficult time, with the upmost professionalism.

Just got home from an unexpected but neccessary appointment as we thought Bella had a UTI. All staff from beginning to end were friendly, helpful, informative and considerate. We needed help getting Bella out and back in our vehicle and there was no hesitation of helping us do this. Alphonso was very sweet and explained everything about the appointment and luckily no UTI. Can't thank the staff enough for all their help and support.

Pet Practice has been our surgery since 2013 when my boy Ozzy was 8 weeks old. Ozzy's vet Hannah is fantastic with him, very caring and thorough. He trusts her and is absolutely compliant and relaxed. I would thoroughly recommend them. The whole team are exceptional.

What can I say about the Pet Practice family. To give context, we have a 8 month old puppy. After a few visits, we upgraded to the Pet Plan Plus which has proven great in terms of free consultations. I want to give my heartfelt thank you and love to all the Oakdale and Bournemouth team. Advice over the phone is so friendly and professional. They can’t do enough for you and understand the human/animal bond perfectly. It’s all about the animal here. Special mention of Asha who is an amazing vet- honest, professional and puts us at ease every time. Thankfully our golden show cocker puppy will continue to be healthy but we have been blown away by this gorgeous practice and have full faith in them all. She loves coming to visit the vets. I’m so glad our friends recommended you guys to us. Thank you all so much x
