I had a really positive experience during my recent visit to the vets. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. They took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure both I and my pet felt comfortable throughout the appointment. The vet nurse was knowledgeable and thorough, explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. It was reassuring to see how gentle and attentive they were, which made a big difference in keeping my pet calm. Overall, the level of care and professionalism was excellent, and I left feeling confident that my pet was in very good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable veterinary care.

The practice always seems so calm, which is great for my dog. The staff are all friendly and helpful and go to great lengths to help my dog relax. They explain everything clearly and I wish I had changed to this practice years ago.

My dog gives the best review. She loves going to the vets! She wants to go in even when we walk past! For me, its easy to book, staff are lovely, promptly seen at appointments.

BEST VETS EVER! We moved vets twice because they weren't confident with our nervous staffie who is harmless but cautious of people. These vets were so understanding and didn't make her do anything she wasn't comfortable with and checked in with us regularly. Recently our dog had to have surgery, as she had to go under they gave her the injection and left us in the consultation room. Just us and our little girl whilst she got sleepy before her op. Her cancer was removed and after a few days she had a reaction to the meds as well as a bit of an infection and they got us in at the earliest they could to help her get through it. Every single person there loves animals, cares a lot and understand a pet owners needs. I never thought I'd find a vets that was perfect for us but here they are! Massive shout out to Liz who removed the cancer completely from our staffie. Thank you everyone that works there. You rock!

Aniwell Vets in Kinson have looked after our pets since they first opened here. Over the years, we’ve brought them our dogs, cats, and hamsters, and every time, the team has been caring and compassionate. Whether it’s a routine check-up or medication for our pets, they are always ready to help. When we’ve had to say goodbye to a pet, they have been kind and supportive right to the very end. We trust them completely with our animals and truly appreciate everyone there.

Ignore the comments about the look of the surgery; the team are absolutely amazing and give great care to our dog Clive. Couldn't be happier with prescriptions, health checks and the emergency care we have needed to date. Would highly recommend.

I recently called this vet to request prescriptions for my dog, but was told I needed to book an appointment first. I understood that, so I accepted a same-day appointment. However, when I arrived, I was shocked at the condition of the reception and waiting area. There was hair everywhere and a strong smell — it genuinely looked like the floor hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I know it’s a vet clinic and pets come and go, but basic cleanliness should still be a priority. When I saw the vet, I already knew what my dog’s issue was, and I even knew which medication she needed. The vet didn’t ask for my dog’s weight, only checked her temperature and paws, and confirmed the yeast infection I had already identified. She then prescribed the exact medication I had requested. There was no additional insight or explanation — nothing I didn’t already know. The biggest shock came at checkout: £200 for a consultation that lasted less than 10 minutes. So worked out £20 a min !!! Let that sink in 😡 On top of that, I was sold medication at more than double the price I could get online. £2.50 per pill for something that costs under £1 elsewhere. I also received ear drops that I was told to use on my dog’s paws can’t see how’s that relevant to her paws !!!! costing £55, which felt excessive. Overall, the prices were unreasonable, the visit was rushed, and the clinic itself was not clean. It’s extremely disappointing, and it’s no surprise pet owners feel frustrated with vet costs when experiences like this happen.

Have been going to Aniwell for many years now. First with my old cat Chloe. And the last 4 years with my diabetic cat Louis. All the staff from vets nurses and reception staff have allways been very caring and helpfully . Just to add today Louis had a day at the vet's for dental treatment, and he was looked after so well, by vet and nurses, and we were kept informed on how he was ? So very reasurring for us .
