Saw my dog extremely last minute when I really needed it. Were friendly and professional and calmed me down when I was in a panic. They worked quickly and I was able to leave with my dog a short while later.

They have been brilliant with my Betty, She is not a big fan of the vets, however they have been amazing, from reception to seeing the vet. A warm welcome always awaits you. Thankyou to all of you.Would definitely recommend St Mary's to anyone.

Extremely upsetting experience here. I am still very upset weeks later. Brought my beloved dog in who had trouble breathing. They tried about an hour treating him, then was told best to put to sleep as not improving. Learning that in itself was devastating enough, but it got worse. Upon attending for this most distressful event I then had to suffer unprofessional reception staff, laughing and joking when I was sat there - even though they were well aware of my situation. Once my dog had been put to sleep no options were offered to me by the vet so I said I would take him home. However the waiting room at that time was packed with people with their very much alive pets. So imagine the upset and trauma of having to carry a dead dog through that lot! No dignity whatsoever! In the end I got the vet to carry him out. Least they could do in the circumstances. There should be more consideration and dignity offered to people whose pets have died, a bereavement room perhaps or at least more care and consideration. In my situation they should have said to me they would keep my dog safe till the end of the day whereby I could take him away in privacy and with dignity. My husband said no doubt they would have charged for the privilege! Yes no doubt. I feel like all they care about is getting paid and I would most certainly not recommend them. In fact i have heard of many other peoples bad experiences here.

Tessa, David, Vikki, Anne and all the team are so patient, kind and compassionate and have always spared extra time to answer my extensive questions about treatment and care for my cat. Although my cat has now passed away and I have moved away from the area, I am certain that he would not have made it to the ripe old age of 19 without the kindness that this veterinary practice showed us in the last few years and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This vet has been one of the best decisions I have ever taken, they all have been fantastic for me and my dog from the reception team to every Vet, and have saved my dogs life twice which I am extremely grateful. David and Tessa has always been very patient with me and gave me all the information with empathy in the most stressful moments , as well as giving my dog all the support it needed without overcharging me olfor any extra procedure. David has even helped me with paper work to travel with my dog many times. Thank you for 7 wonderful years, and now I moved away I will be very sad to not having you guys. I extremely recommend them 10/10 !

I have a nervous rescue dog. He's had five visits to St. Mary's. Everyone there has been so calm and lovely with him. I have a monthly plus plan which saves me soooo much money. We had a dew claw emergency on a Saturday morning. One quick phone call, we went in and saw David the vet, he delt with the claw problem very quickly, because of my monthly plan we didn't have to pay anything more. GREAT people, service and results. Thank you all.🐶🐶
