As an autistic with communication difficulties and Tourette’s, a Vet’s waiting room is a scary place… but upon being told of my difficulties, the super friendly staff offered alternatives to accommodate me and allowed me to wait outside until my dogs appointment. This was an astonishing relief and eased the anxieties that were already frayed by my dogs ailment. For the appointment itself I can only sing the praises of Melissa who took such beautiful care of my dog, ensuring my elderly pooch had a thorough check-up and accurate diagnosis… but she was every bit as diligent in her care of me. I apologised for my ticks and Tourette’s which, with my anxiety heightened, were now fairly prominent… but she didn’t bat an eye and merely continued in her professional and empathetic care of my beloved pet. Equally, she was as understanding and adept at accommodating my processing and communication difficulties. Melissa was eloquent, patient and thorough in her explanation of the diagnosis and treatments, allowing me time to process and ask questions to ensure I understood all the particulars before making a decision on treatment. She then communicated with the wonderful staff in the (at that moment fairly busy and noisy) reception area, the instructions for the next appointment so I wouldn’t have to. All of these adaptations of their service allowed me to effectively participate in my dog's care and gave me personal freedom to perform this task without help from someone else. In my world, that is not a small thing. Bob is doing well thanks to Melissa’s stellar care and I want to thank her, and all the staff, not only for their skill and professionalism but also their kindness and understanding. Bob and I are hugely grateful.

Seen today by Ellie, she was absolutely superb with my cat Norman. Really informative and helpful with any questions. Can see it’s busy, but didn’t feel like we were rushed at all. The ladies on reception were great as well, sat with my cat while I had to make a call outside 🩶

This place is amazing & will treat your pet as if it were there own & I highly recommend them from my own experience with them. My cat, Charlie, got run down & I rushed him here, as soon as I entered I asked them to help my cat who was in a very bad way, immediately they rushed him into the back, they offered me a room to clean up as I was covered in hair, blood & mucus & then after about 10 minutes the vet Emilia Brewka explained to me that Charlie only had a 20% chance of survival & he would need surgery on his jaw as it was fractured badly, he would be blind in at least 1 eye as it was ruptured but the.other had also been damaged as the optic nerve had a lot of pressure on it from his swelling & also from the impact of him being hit,....he was in a bad way & I had to make a decision....I went for a walk for 20 minutes & during this time they calmed him down gave him medication & took xrays. Miraculously, after they operated on him & put him on medication & calmed him, he made a comeback & is now enjoying his life again, unfortunately he is completely blind but he's adapted very well to it & to think I nearly lost him just a month ago. The staff & vet made this possible for "Charlie" & I will always be thankful to them for giving him his life back. (please see pics, not in order) I highly recommend them to all, outstanding service, caring, thoughtful & they treat your pet as there own. 10/10 5 Stars.

Jack just had dental surgery today. They are very kind and caring here. They treated Jack exactly as I would have treated him. Very respectful of your feelings and love for your animal. This photo was taken right before leaving and no he doesnt look impressed 😆
