We always see Nigel for our two spaniels. He has a calm and reassuring manner and is a ‘real’ vet. We love our dogs and appreciate Nigel’s response to problems we encounter. The Haxby team are all extremely pleasant and helpful.

Always an absolutely fantastic veterinary experience I have been with Tower Vets for approx 33 years now and they have held my hand throughout the highs (of which there has been many) and also the lows too (which are unavoidable). I've had cats, rabbits, livestock - in the earlier years - and now Newfoundlands. Their expertism, knowledge, skill, professionalism, kindness, care and respect is of the utmost highest of standards with the flawless ability to always put you and your pet at ease even in the most difficult of situations/circumstance. Their friendly approach is so welcomed by myself and hubby that I class everyone from Tower Vets as Family; with special and grateful thanks going to "Uncle" Nigel - all my Newfies absolutely love him and when I say we're off to the vets, they all have had no fear - no hesitation - and jumped straight into the car (which does help as my heaviest boy weighed in at 14 stone). That to me is a magnificent show of confidence and appreciation that they know no fear or anxiety; simply brilliant. Thank You Tower Vets 🐾 💖

Haxby vets are so friendly and caring. Our pets are always relaxed when they are there. The staff handle our pets with such care and our pets especially love the little treats they get at the end of their appointments.

Very pleased with the service. Took our 17 month old cat Lily for her health check and booster jabs and she settles down straight away with Nigel. He is so gentle with her and our 13 year old cat Lola.

Took my super anxious kitty to Tower Vets yesterday for his annual boosters and front paw pedicure. Our vet Nigel, was so incredibly kind and gentle with George. Something I really appreciate as George does not do well with new people or leaving the house. The appointment was quick, efficient and very well handled.

Very professional and efficient, I have had multiple dogs over 40 years and finding a good vet has become more and more difficult. With large chain vet groups it is a lottery as to who you get to see. The vet and staff at this branch (Haxby) Is by far the best I have used for many years.
