Our opening hours are designed to be convenient for our clients. We are open from 8:00am to 6:30pm from Monday to Friday, and from 8:30am to 3:00pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays to give our staff the opportunity to spend time with their families. However, we do offer an emergency service for those times when your pet needs urgent attention outside of our regular hours. Just give us a call and we will do our best to assist you.

Our team of veterinary surgeons is made up of highly experienced professionals, each with their own areas of expertise. Our Partner, Ms Eilidh Hawkins, has qualifications that include BVM&S MSc PGCertSAS MRCVS and has a particular interest in surgery. Dr Samantha Hambleton-Wood is our resident orthopaedic specialist, while Miss Emma Lloyd-Jones has a keen interest in equine practice. Together, they offer the highest possible standards of care for your pets and farm animals.

We also have a team of experienced veterinary nurses led by Head Nurse Mrs Shelley Crozier, who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your animals. Our nurses are fully trained to assist in surgery, perform diagnostic tests, and provide a wide range of other services.

At Wern Veterinary Surgeons, we are proud to offer a number of facilities designed to make life easier for our clients. We are open at weekends, which means you can bring your pet in for treatment or advice when it suits you best. We also have a client car park to make your visit as convenient as possible. Additionally, we have disabled access, which ensures our practice is always accessible to everyone.

Finally, we are delighted to offer our services to a wide range of different species, including aquatics, cats, dogs, equines, exotic pets, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats, and small mammals.
