Some lovely nurses, but difficult to rebook appts as rotas not done a month in advance. Tiny wait room, squashed receptionists, noisy, stresses my cat out before she sees vet/vet nurse as often 2/3 dogs in the tiny waiting room area. Beware pet club, benefits getting slowly eroded, just this month reduced discount on long term medications from 20% to 10% so bill rose £6 to £103! Charge £45 a month for a vet nurse to give an Injection. Not including cost of the injection itself! Absolute rip off. Roll on govt investigation into vet fees & lack of transparency. Will shortly be moving to another vet this time an independent one, not one run by a big company.

The staff were friendly, but the prices were outrageous. £62 for a 10-minute consultation, followed by an additional £80+ for antibiotics for my cat. It honestly felt more like a cash grab than a genuine effort to provide value for money. The focus seems to be on how much they could charge rather than delivering a fair service.

Extreme difficulty in getting hold of anyone by phone to order a repeat prescription for my cat. I left a message as directed (twice) but no response. When I called into the practice in person I was made to wait for half an hour - and then charged £31 for the prescription - up from the £28 I paid 3 months previously. I order the medicine online because it saves over a third of the cost compared with buying from the practice. Practice also looks tired and long overdue for a coat of paint and a refurb. Looks like the owners (based in Bristol) are cutting back on service and taking max profits.

I have been coming to this practice for many years now. The service me and my pet have received has been excellent. The staff are always very friendly and you feel at ease as soon as you walk in. We got our dog as a stray and she can be a little nervous of new things so it is always nice to see how calm and gentle they are towards her, so it makes her experience less stressful. I would definitely recommend Yorkshire Vets to my friends and family.
