Ark Veterinary Surgery is led by our Directors and experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Dr Ian Lowe (BVetMed PgC in Exotic Animal Studies MRCVS) and Mrs Julie Wakerley (BVSc MRCVS), along with Dr Adam Nayar (BVSc MRCVS). Our highly skilled Veterinary Surgeons are supported by an exceptional team of caring Veterinary Nurses, including our Head Nurse Miss Kerry Higginson (RVN) and her dedicated colleagues Miss Heather Ambler (RVN), Miss Claire Bernard (RVN), Mrs Michelle Billard (RVN), and Miss Hetty Harrison (RVN).

In addition to our core veterinary team, we have Advanced Practitioners providing specialised care in various fields of veterinary medicine. Our departments offer a diverse range of treatments and services, ensuring that all of our patients receive the most comprehensive care possible.

Our practice is open six days a week, with convenient opening hours to cater for pet owners with busy schedules. From Monday to Friday, we are open from 08:30 until 18:30, while on Saturdays our doors are open from 09:00 until 11:30. However, we are closed on Sundays. Our practice is committed to offering accessible care and services, maintaining facilities and special interests that are open during weekends to accommodate our clients and their pets.
