I visited Lawrie Vets Falkirk yesterday with my new puppy and was impressed by the professional, friendly approach. The consultation was thorough, and all breeder requirements were carefully explained and accommodated. I have every confidence in their care going forward.

**THEY HAVE SINCE BLOCKED ME AFTER MY FACEBOOK REVIEW** AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!! If it would allow me to remove the single star I would but unfortunately it won’t. All cover eachothers lies. If you love your pet, avoid Lawrie’s Vet Practice at all costs. My dog Hugo died due to their negligence, incompetence, and dishonesty. I raised serious concerns before his dental procedure, including a prior reaction to anaesthesia. I was assured it would be avoided — it wasn’t. He was discharged early while visibly unwell: vomiting, struggling to breathe, and lethargic. I begged them to keep him in for monitoring but was dismissed. Hours later, I rushed him to the emergency vet where he was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. He died the next morning. The practice lied repeatedly, ignored critical symptoms, and showed zero accountability. Their follow-up was equally disgraceful — dodging responsibility, contradicting themselves, and even blocking me on Facebook after my review. I now know of other pets who’ve suffered or died under their care. Don’t risk it. Hugo paid the ultimate price.

Avoid this place just had my dog there with a cut pad to have the flap removed , was told I would need to have the dog examined when in aswell because she hasn't been to them the last year so that was fine , went in for exam and flap removal the vet looked at cut pad and removed the small flap them bandaged it up as you can see bandage in photo . I said about her skin allergies and straight away he wanted to know her weight to work out dosages for tablets or a jag monthly . Then went on to tell me the cost , tablets £106 per month or jag £156 per 4 weeks , but he never actually looked at the dogs skin to check what it was with her skin , on leaving I was charged £103 for this £53 for examination and £50 for a bandage which would have cost maximum £2 . Bearing all this in mind the year before my dog was there with the same thing on other paw but the cut was bigger and on an emergency appointment , I was charged for that £56.49 for the same treatment and I was also given antibiotic cream to treat with at home . They say they will make you aware of costs before doing thing but they didn't and they didn't even give my dog a proper exam . So totally disgusted with them and will not be back .
