We cannot thank our vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed to our dog, Willow. From the very first appointment, they treated her like one of their own — with patience, kindness, and genuine concern for her wellbeing. During what was an incredibly stressful time for us, they went above and beyond to explain everything clearly, answer all our questions, and reassure us every step of the way. Their professionalism and expertise gave us complete confidence, but it was their warmth and empathy that truly made the difference. Willow received outstanding care, and we felt fully supported throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for everything they did to help her — and to help us too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team who truly cares. Again thankyou so very much xx

“Excellent vets and a truly wonderful team. The vets are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and they always take the time to explain things clearly and put you at ease. You never feel rushed, and it’s obvious how much they genuinely care about the animals they treat. The receptionists are equally lovely — warm, friendly, and so helpful — which makes every visit feel calm and supportive. I feel completely confident bringing my pets here and wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

I had to take my very loved little hamster for a check up and unfortunately subsequently to be put to sleep this week. On both occasions the staff I met, both at reception and the nurses themselves were kind, compassionate and never once made me feel silly or an inconvenience for being a blubbering mess. I am very happy that I chose to come here, the staff made such a sad experience much easier to deal with, thank you all.

Exceptional care and attention. We've been going here for almost 14 years with our dog. From puppy parties to her old age and every single visit and every member of the team has been supportive, kind and helpful. We've had a great service. Our dog had been in very good hands.

Last Saturday morning, we called as our cat had some difficulty breathing and she was able to be seen promptly the same day. Unfortunately we found out it was very serious and we were explained our options for her, as well as the risks to keep our expectations realistic. We decided to try save her and they were able to perform an operation quickly. She was then transferred to an out of hours practice to be monitored. Sadly, that night we had to say goodbye to our little furball. Myself and my husband are very grateful for all the effort Avon Lodge and Vets Now put into saving our cat and for also being so compassionate when it was bad news. Thanks so much.
