Rosemary Lodge has been amazing on a number of occaisions and it is a relief to have such a great 24hour vet in the city. Curo Housing sadly give criminal offenders carte blanch to carry out their crimes and one has been harming my cat, over a number of years. Bath Vet group have been amazing in assisting me with the harm my cat has experienced and but also supporting the offenders neglected cats, as required, too. Thank you.

Very friendly, professional staff who know and care for are dog Very well. He loves to come visit the team. They are all very experienced and great at handling. My dog never realised he was having his claws clipped. I would definitely recommend them.

Our cat Dexter was hit by a car on Saturday night and we had a call from Rosemary Lodge to say he was there. We headed up and he was pretty beaten up. He had some head trauma with a bad eye and was coughing up blood. Our Vet Nikos said he thought he might not make it and gave me a long list of things that might be an issue (but then also said he hadn't examined him so a little bit confusing). Dexter wasn't insured so I was in the awful position of having to decide on what to do. The cost to keep him in an monitor him was £500 for every 7 hours. With pain relief meds £2500 a day. The staff were all nice, we just felt like there were no options or flexibility in what could be done and very expensive. We just wanted basic pain relief and monitoring. A few years ago another cat of ours was in and it was £250 a night so it feels like a big leap. Looking back at other reviews and there seems to be a bit of a common theme.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Rosemary Lodge Hospital. From the very first interaction, it was clear that the focus was not on animal welfare, but on money. When I called for urgent help regarding our bunny, the woman I spoke to showed no compassion or interest in the situation. Instead, the conversation felt entirely driven by cost, with no reassurance or care offered at all. As a pet owner facing what we believed was a serious emergency, this was incredibly distressing. What shocked me most was the lack of willingness to help. Despite the circumstances — a potentially severely injured rabbit and two young children with us at 2am — we were not made to feel welcome or supported. In fact, I felt so uncomfortable with how we were spoken to that I didn’t feel confident taking our pet there at all. Instead, we had to drive all the way to Trowbridge in the middle of the night. This experience left me feeling appalled and frustrated. In a moment where compassion and professionalism should come first, we were met with indifference and a focus on payment. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Pet owners deserve empathy, support, and genuine care for their animals — none of which we received. If I could give 0 stars believe I would!
