About Vets Now - Bath
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
Vets Now Bath provides out-of-hours emergency care through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays. They’re ready and waiting to provide expert, pet emergency care when your regular vet is closed.
Vets Now have been providing expert emergency care to pets across the UK for more than 15 years and on average, they receive more than 400,000 enquiries a year and provide treatment to more than 100,000 pets.
Regardless of which vet your pet is registered with, Vets Now’s services are there when you need them.
If you need help out-of-hours, call your local Vets Now branch and they will provide advice over the phone and advise whether you need to bring your pet into the clinic for immediate treatment.
If you have pet insurance you should also bring your policy details. All or some of the cost of treatment, and any consultation fee, may be reimbursed by your policy.

For the last 2 years I've been getting my dogs medication here after his surgery. They always did a direct claim with my insurance with no issues. He had an appointment last week as they need to see him before giving the meds...they didn't have enough in stock so agreed I would pick up next day. Went through all insurance details etc and all good. My sister went to collect his meds and they wanted to charge £250 upfront 🤷♀️ There was no mention of this prior and ive never been charged this over the last 2 years. Practice manager said its their policy and have always charged this... absolutely disgusting, very poor communication between management and staff it seems. And no clear signs on reception.

We were able to get a next day appointment after our chihuahuas front tooth fell out and we worried about infection and pain. The vet was fantastic, our lil man is very reactive and scared of the vets but the vet was calm and understanding. We were also prescribed some calming medication to give him a few hours before. We didn’t feel rushed and were able to ask all relevant questions - we also had an open discussion around future dental work that we may need to consider. Highly recommend.

My cat Loki was extremely poorly recently, the team were extremely helpful with reassuring me and helping me understand everything that was happening. No question was too stupid and made me feel really at ease. What a wonderful team. A massive thank you to Amy who looked after him 🥰🥰

The vets at rosemary lodge are superb. Kind, patient, understanding and importantly, thorough in both their investigative work and solutions. I moved from a well loved vet in Bath and I’m so glad I did. I completely trust the vets. Molly goes the extra mile and is exceptionally professional yet tender in her capacity as a vet

What a kind and compassionate team who supported us through the difficult decision of putting our beloved dog to sleep. Every step of the process was done with care, from Margo, who we spoke to initially, to the team on reception, and the professional and kind vet who was understanding, and explained the process really clearly. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful ending for our little old lady. Thank you to the team 🐾❤️
