Took our pug bella to have her nails cut today , Her appointment was with Ruby who was amazing . She was very patient and very professional…Bella has been to many vets in the past and always came away without allowing anyone to cut them… Bella will definitely be visiting Ruby in the future.

Dreadful Service. Don't seem to care about the animal at all. The first vet I saw there told me a £1500 operation was the only option for my pet. Took advice from my insurer - who disagreed - so I paid to see the Head Vet at Beaumont, who said no, surgery not required and probably wouldn't work anyway and gave me a cream for £10. I waited 3 weeks to have follow up appointment with same Head Vet, only to see ANOTHER vet as Head Vet was in a meeting and no longer available. I have an extremely anxious dog who does not eat for ages after Vet visits, I am not prepared to keep taking time off work and traveling there with her only for them to change who I see anyway! Continuity is so important when they all have such vastly conflicting opinions! I have no faith in them whatsoever now.

Nearly killed my dog…he came in with constant coughing and a stage 4 heart murmur and they didn’t bother to check his heart and claimed it was just throat irritation. Turns out he has Mitral Valve and couldn’t breathe as his heart was so enlarged it blocked his lungs😢😢He’s 10 and a cavapoo and they didn’t check his heart! Do better! we’re moving clinics. And don’t get the “healthy pet plan” it does nothing and they charge extortionate prices anyways.

Just had to put my dog to sleep after 12yrs of faithful friendship. The vet and nurses were wonderful both to my dog and me. I thank them all so much.x

I need to share my serious concerns about Beaumont Vets in Kidlington. After being a loyal customer for over 18 years, recent experiences have left me frustrated, emotionally distressed, and disillusioned. Two years ago, after a routine dental procedure for our dog Maisie, we were shocked to find 14 teeth were extracted without prior notice or explanation. A few months later, Maisie had a severe adverse reaction to a booster shot, and the vet was dismissive, despite online reports of similar reactions. Fast forward to January 6th, when I took Autumn in for a dental cleaning and removal of two growths. I clearly communicated I didn’t want unnecessary tooth extractions, and was quoted £950. On the day of the procedure, I was told Autumn needed 9 teeth extracted, but later agreed to 3 or 4. After 3 hours under anesthetic, I was told 6 teeth were removed, and the cost would stay around £900. But when I received the final bill, it was over £1600—way higher than expected. I was charged for an extra tooth removal, x-rays. The clinic did adjust the bill, but it was still much higher than quoted, leaving me feeling betrayed. To make matters worse, I was charged £118 for cancelling my Health Pet Club membership, a charge I was never informed about. After this, we’ve decided to switch to a new vet. The lack of communication, unexpected charges, and emotional toll have been overwhelming. I requested a full review of the situation and compensation, but Beaumont Vets only acknowledged their mistakes and promised changes. I’ve shared this experience to help others make an informed decision before choosing this clinic.

This vet practice is brilliant. My two cats always receive excellent care and the admin team are extremely helpful too with booking appointments and submitting insurance claims for me.
