Absolutely lovely staff and great service, from reception to vet ( Agatha ). Despite inducing vomiting on our little pooch, they didn't even want to leave!

Saturday evening, our dog Rio was lethargic and foaming at the mouth. We took him to Medivet, where they discovered a stick lodged in the back of his mouth. They removed it and did not charge us for the service. The following day while out on a walk, he did it again! I tried without success to remove the stick from his mouth. Embarrassed, I rang Medivet. They asked me to come in immediately. With my son, myself and one doctor holding Rio, another doctor managed to remove the stick using forceps. Again, they did not charge us anything. Hopefully we won't be back again tomorrow...

Everything was amazing!! From me calling at night while not even being a customer yet and receiving a consultation, to an in-person visit, to an overnight admission and discharge — everything was great, professional, and friendly. I appreciate the fees transparency, the attention to detail and patience. It was very clear on what the estimates are and what procedures are mandatory / urgent and what are optional / could wait until further assessment. All my questions were answered, concerns addressed. I even got overnight photo updates of my cat! Thank you very much the entire team and veterinarian Michaela specifically.

Had to have our very poorly, elderly guinea pig put down, was told I couldn't be with him during the process, have since found out it's common practice to be in with your pet during this procedure. Gutted we couldn't be with him in the final moments. If they try to tell anyone else this insist you go in if that's what you prefer. Said they were very busy, guess this was the reasoning behind it. Edit. While I was parking one of the staff told my partner he'd already died, then another vet came out and said that they were sorry and he hadn't. Please read other reviews for an idea as to the experience they have had with medivet having their pets put down. Avoid this place.

Absolutely poor!!!! Money making!!!!! On the 10th January late at night I rang cause my little 15 year old Jack Russell was very unwell. Will give one star for the fact that you fitted us in BUT then it was just ridiculous. I fully understand that test have to be done as you don’t know my dog and she wasn’t well but you did all your test and actually didn’t make her better from them. I was told that I had been over dosing my dog by your vet (that doesn’t know how hard we have worked to get our dog on the right dosage) Tink has Cushing and has taken over a year to get her medication correct. You told us to remove some of her medication which has now meant we have had to have more test and her levels have now risen so thank you for the extra costs!!!! But your vets also told should of also told us that the readings from her blood test wouldn’t be correct as Tink was poorly that actually messes with her cortisol levels so we wouldn’t get an accurate reading! Your vets also told us Tink had a uti which we thought you had given us antibiotics… But when taken to our vet straight away on Monday 12th as she was still very poorly was told that she didn’t have any antibiotics so would still have the uti as you hadn’t treated it? (Why make me pay for tablets that would actually do nothing?) If your vets had actually done some correct investigation on Tink you would of found out like our vet did that she had Haemorrhagic Gastroenteritis and was very poorly if we hadn’t of got her on some antibiotics she could of died! So again thank you very much. On all the paper work we had I was known as Mr Gemma Chubb I did say I was MRS! Also we were asked 3 times for our Vet’s name so you could pass on your findings which you didn’t do I rang you up. So long story short you like to take money from people and not actually fix the problem and cost people more money to go to a proper vet to get your dog well again!! You have coursed nothing than added extra stress to myself and my dog

I cannot recommend this vet highly enough. After a difficult experience with a previous practice, it was clear from our first visit that the staff here genuinely care about the well-being of every animal. Our dog was very anxious and in pain on his first visit, but the team was patient, gentle, and reassuring. By his second visit, he was practically skipping through the door and making friends with everyone! The dedication, kindness, and professionalism of the staff at Medivet Woodstock are truly exceptional. I will happily recommend them to everyone. I think they are wonderful!
