I used to really rate this vets. Now my impression is they are very impersonal and commercial. The receptionist Debbie would benefit from training. I rang to request a home visit to have my beloved dog put to sleep. Debbie didn't listen properly and asked if I was bringing her into the surgery and asked my/my dog's name more than once. She then left me on hold longer than I deem appropriate in such an upsetting situation. She then said she couldn't give me a time (fair enough) but I had to ask lots of times what the latest was likely to be. Debbie just kept saying she couldn't say until I said "you must have a closing time? I'm guessing it is not going to be 10pm??" I was quoted a price, made arrangements for my friend to take time off work, planned my dog's final few hours then was telephoned some time later to be told there would be an additional charge of £83. By then I was committed emotionally and in terms of plans made. Any vet I have worked for or been a client of before sends a sympathy card when a pet is put to sleep. Not this vets, I just got an invoice and when I rang to pay I was left on hold again. Holly was polite but showed no empathy and was very matter of fact. Not impressed with any aspect of this £284 transaction. Very different from my experience when Adam came out 14 or so years ago to put my last dog to sleep

Absolutely amazing team at this practice. Front of house always super helpful and I can’t thank Katie Hanks enough for her patience and care for my dog who can get a little nervous when at the Vets. When he had a damaged nail that needed to come off, Katie was incredible to care for him and sort the problem out. Great experience.

Originally thought they were a good vets, had no problems. Until my dog got a tumour in his nose, they X-rayed him once, when that didn’t show up with anything but the bleeding persisted, they charged me the same again for the same X-ray, making out like it was a different one. Then they didn’t know what it was so they more or less washed their hands of us and told us to go pay £5000 for a ct scan. After a year of wasting time and taking £800+ off us we went to a different vets to be referred instantly to somewhere that did it for half the price. Where we found out it was cancer so the year they wasted really mattered more than we thought. The vet, Adam, was rude, and his attitude towards my dog was disgusting, as my dog is very nervous. He wouldn’t let me stay while my dog was knocked out even though that’s what the other vets had done as he’s very scared of vets and reactive. I explained I didn’t want him to treat any of my animals again. Skip to my other dog. He was found as a stray and needed almost all of his teeth removed as they were rotten. They originally told us £600, when we went back they’d changed the price to over £1000. I found out after the procedure that it was Adam who did it even thought I’d expressed I didn’t want him to treat any of my animals ever again. We noticed a lot of teeth were still there, but we assumed he’d taken all the rotten ones. Clearly not, as not even one year later, we are booked into our new vets, for the REST of the rotting teeth to be removed as he only took half. I’m assuming to get another £1000 out of us. My dog is currently in agony, being syringed puréed food, awaiting the removal of his teeth at our new vets for the price of £500. While my other one is dealing with a large cancerous tumour in his nose that treatment for could of been started a year prior if it wasn’t for their incompetence. After all this I’ve been met with hostility by the receptionists too when we’ve called since.

An excellent Veterinary Centre where my five spaniels have been treated over many years by various members of staff. Sadly, I recently had to say goodbye to my wonderful 15 year old Springer Spaniel. I therefore wish to express my gratitude to Adam for his exceptional vet care during her lifetime and in her finał hours. He showed immense care and compassion towards both my Springer and me at such a difficult time -truly above and beyond expectations. Adam is undoubtedly a fantastic vet and extremely understanding and supportive of any concerned pet owner. Blenheim Veterinary Centre is very fortunate to have such a highly experienced and popular vet (both with pets and owners). He is definitely the best in the veterinary business.

Fantastic service, same day appointment and procedure done there and then (relocated hip under GA). All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and reasurring. The standard of care for both myself (stressed and upset owner) and our little dog was absolutely top class! The vet (Adam) showed incredible compassion and explained the procedure and after care to great extent. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service and care we received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this surgery to anyone!! Photo attached of our little lady Tilly - still a little away with the fairies 🖤
