You always get a warm welcome and my dogs are treated so kindly . You also do not get pressured into buying extra treatments etc.. Both of my grown up children now bring their dogs here, rather than to the vets near where they live , because of this .

We've used many different vet practices in Derbyshire over the years and have found McMurtry to be the most consistent in being able to see the same vet. The quality of care and service is exceptional. It feels very 'family' orientated and so having a nervous dog, this is particularly important. We primarily use the Wirksworth practice and always receive a warm welcome. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking to develop a relationship with their vet.

I moved to McMurtry's after leaving a popular vet in Matlock I had used for almost 9 years. So pleased I did! Bethany and Chris have done a super job looking after my pets. All the staff have been lovely, compassionate and welcoming. After each visit I have left feeling reassured my pets are treated with dignity and their emotional state addressed not just physical. I just wish I had switched years ago.
