So thankful for the compassionate and friendly staff here. Only one visit, with Zoe. Sadly, to say goodbye to beautiful Mylie, our companion and friend. I would highly recommend this location. Clearly a very caring team.

Wish I'd found this vets years ago! I've needed to use both Mansfield and Chesterfield branches for my cats treatment over the last week and the whole experience has been flawless. They genuinely care about animals, the vet that initially saw my cat was directly talking to her to reassure her as she did her checks, they have dedicated cat waiting areas which makes for a much less stressful time for the cat, and their treatment of her was impeccable. She was offered at least as much care as a private doctor would give to a human, if not more. They explained every step of the process to me, and rather than waiting all day after she was in for her procedure (as I have had with vets in the past) , they called by midday to let me know she was in recovery. Both vets practices were immaculate and when I asked for information to be able to complete details for my pet insurance, they actually saved me the back and forth and dealt directly with the insurer for me to get a pre approval on treatment. I cannot speak to the cost, as I did not compare with anyone else, but the level of care they gave my cat was worth 10 times what I paid. The final touch that I found to be heartwarming and reassuring was a candle in the Chesterfield branch at reception with a notice by it saying if the candle is lit, someone is saying goodbye to a pet, so please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum. These people genuinely care about their patients - 10/10 from me.

I have ALL my pets registered here now since my last vet (Mr brown died after going way over retirement a no nonsense old fashioned vet) I couldn’t wish to have a more competent, friendly and respectful vets! Again no nonsense , you’re given options about the care given ! The staff are so lovely , from reception through to nurses and vets ALL are so knowledgeable and helpful! I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else !

My first visit to Carrick's and I was very impressed. A clean and bright environment, a warm welcome from reception and a thorough and thoughtful consultation from Zoe. My new rescue Storm is a bit of a handful, excitable and worried, but was handled with care, patience and understanding. My fears were assuaged and I was reassured. Thank you very much and a particular thanks to Zoe.
