Rang and got an emergency appiontment,we have a Ferral cat that's lived on our land for years coming into the house the last 3years,gets on well with our other cats but still won't allow human touch. Noticed the cat being more quiet that usual and not eating, but every rime we tried to get near she would go wild. Today we decided we were catching her! To cut a long story short we caught her with a blanket but she smashed a few things trying to get away. When at the vets we saw Ella! What an absolute star, very patient and understanding. The cat had an infected wound and Ella managed to squeeze all the putried liquid out, it just kept coming out of a big lump we couldn't believe how much came out. She checked to see if it was a boy or girl! This was the first time I have ever touched the cat and because she was confined and poorly she gave in to me stroking her. Had a two week antibiotic injection due to the difficulty of administering anything once home. I am so happy we got her to the vets and so happy we saw Ella. Since bringing her home she's different already perked up a little. Let's hope I can get her in the basket again to have regular checks and a chip to say she belongs to us. She was one of the cats they neuter and released back to where they were found , she has a snipped ear. Must also say how friendly the reception staff have been too, a lovely all round vets very impressed. A big thankyou!

All the staff here are friendly, professional and very caring. My dog has had major knee surgery and the whole process has been amazing. They've been great at explaining what's happening at every step, helped us feel calm and prepared, and taken excellent care of our much loved dog. They've answered every query, given great advice and been very helpful indeed. The after care has been great. I would definitely recommend them.

This morning my little dog gave birth to 4 puppies, the last one was a shock. I went straight to matts as his intestines were outside his body they were put back in and he was stitched he was home within an hour of being born and back with mum. This was a really scary moment but everyone at matts were amazing, they kept me informed and gave me advise on aftercare I cant thank you all enough, from reception staff, nurses and vets

By far the best vets I’ve ever visited! The whole team is so lovely, friendly, and welcoming, they really make you feel cared for and supported from the moment you walk in. I’ve visited this practice twice now, and both experiences were wonderful. Sadly, on my most recent visit I had to have my ferret, Draco, put to sleep. It was such a difficult moment, but the staff were incredibly kind, gentle, and understanding. They treated both me and Draco with so much compassion and respect, and I’ll always be grateful for that. On top of their amazing care, their prices are very fair and affordable, which takes away a lot of stress during emotional times. I couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough The lovely ladies here truly go above and beyond! 💕

I would highly recommend as the staff and Matt are lovely and care so much about everyone's pets. Also reasonable prices. They looked after our Charley and were very caring when he was put to sleep. Thank you all so much. Charmaine and Ralph

Would love to give a five star rating but after my experience I will never use this practice again. My beautiful Greyhound went in for a Dental around 3 weeks ago, they took out 31 of his teeth and after some recovery time we fetched him home. Over the next week he deteriorated and after giving him lots of drugs eventually lost the use of his back legs and had to be put to sleep. When we asked how this could have happened one of the vets said oh he could have been positioned incorrectly on the table causing the pain during the Dental. I’m shocked that they would even say this and not really care that we’ve lost our dog because of this. I’m also amazed at the lack of knowledge about greyhounds when anaesthetic is used and drugs are given. £1700 and no dog to show for it. Money before care.
