I cant fault the service at Cavan vets. They got my dog in quickly and spent time listening and then made a plan to get my dog better. Vet was thorough and Beatrix was so kind and gentle with my dog. What is different about this vets is they are not there to squeeze every penny out of people. The vet only prescribed what my dog needed and made low cost recommendations that I can get anywhere. The nurses and reception staff are all friendly and helpful.

Sadly, after years of using Cavan Pets Willenhall, I’ve decided I will no longer be returning. Over time I’ve noticed a significant decline in customer service, and the practice now feels far more money-oriented than focused on care, compassion, and empathy towards pet owners. I recently had two poor experiences — one face-to-face with a vet I believe was called Angelique, and another over the phone with a staff member named Heidi. During my telephone query regarding vaccinations, Heidi showed very little compassion or understanding and came across as quite abrupt. My interaction with Angelique was equally disappointing, as I felt she had very poor people skills and lacked empathy. As a paying customer and pet owner, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, especially when discussing concerns about my pet’s care. Unfortunately, these experiences left me feeling uncomfortable and unsupported. Because of this decline in standards and the way I was spoken to, I will not be financially supporting this practice in future.

Very knowledgable, caring staff. Very prompt service. My kitten saw 3 vets and had a specialist scan within 2 hours. She had a serious op. But has made a full recovery. Very good aftercare and support claiming insurance.

I would never advise anybody to take their pet here ,all they care about is money ,took our beautiful dog there first time in January, spent 1600 altogether and was no further forward for a diagnosis, receptionists are rude and the vets are only interested in money ,my jet had to be put to sleep on fri because we had to have another xray to confirm what it was meanwhile jet was getting worse ,they told me it was not cancer at cavan ,took her teeth out under anaesthetic so they could get more money off us, when I took her to another vet indeed it was cancer ,jet had more love and affection and concern from the vet we took her to 3 times than all the weeks we took her to cavan and has for the ins animal friends (avoid ) they never wanted to fight them for us AVOID THESE VETS LIKE THE PLAGUE ..........to add insult to injury ,I have been blocked from cavan fb page ,if they truly believe my beloved jet recieved the best care why are they not defending themselves and their practice instead of blocking people giving their experiences, no compassion or care its all about money at cavan please avoid unless you want t to be left with a broken heart and terrible experience 😢 💔

Absolutely amazing vets I've been going to them with my mom since I was a kid and now I still go with my own pets. They saved my cats life so I couldn't be more thankful. They are affordable and care so much about your pets you know they will be in safe hands and well loved while they have to stay in.

Very rude receptionist Amanda put the phone down on me first time then when I called back she said fully booked without asking what the problem was ?! When I told her she proceeded to say when appointments were available…,, if someone feels their animal needs to see a vet it must be fairly important……. No one goes to vets just for simple problems because of the cost these days !!! I’ve used Cavan Vets a few times but their receptionists are very rude most of the time . More training required or maybe hire staff who care about animals ? I’d give it -5 🌟 if it was possible sadly not ! Do better

Unprofessional with zero customer service skills. Miscommunication between all staff with no one taking accountability. Front line staff have no people skills and hence why they need a security guard to protect them from irrate customers who they do not care about. They do not care about your pets all they care about is how much money they can make out of you. Didn't listen to friends and family on how bad they are and went with them but I wish I had. I will be moving vets ASAP and will be joining the masses who will be telling people to avoid Cavan Vets. Also when you want to complain you can't speak to anyone you have to send an email to a Hotmail account. This is a business who is praying on your pets welfare and your emotions. I have good insurance and they have milked it and still want more whist my dog suffers.

We had a consultation today with Alasdair about our dogs eyes and just had to leave a review. He was excellent with our dog and excellent with us. A credit to the practice; I hope they manage to keep him. He knows his stuff and you can tell he really cares. Possibly one of the best experiences with a vet we’ve had! Thank you !
