Manor Vets - Colebrook

Our first visit to the practice after changing a to surgery closer to home. Really pleased with our visit with our elderly cat. The receptionists were incredibly welcoming and the clinician was was very empathetic and listened to our concerns. We are very pleased with the clinic.

The receptionist are lovely The vets should be sales people though!! all they suggest is wanting your money more they actually caring for your pet! They twist every conversation into wanting your money it’s such an OFFPUT

I took sisters cat Leonidas here for the first time everything was spot on the customer service to the treatment and the pet plan cover … thank you so much 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ll definitely be recommending your vets to family and friends … And definitely not the previous vets we used to go before which totally put me off vets and lost my confidence and trust. The vets that made my whole family feel like this was in kings heath called white cross vets and here is the reason why …firstly the kings heath vets genuine caring staff left and moved on else where and after my cat got multiple seizures after them injecting her with medicine which shouldn’t be given to cats with liver disease or so… anyway after she had been given that injection which was literally poison to her small frail body she had aggressive seizures which left her practically exhausted and paralysed that she couldn’t even eat or drink let alone pass urine or so and I gave her water which you could tell she was in need of desperately and was so thirsty … she had so many seizures that whole evening like every few minutes to every 20-30 mins! It was so heartbreaking to watch and that I couldn’t do anything to help her and that I was short on cash to get an emergency vet to come to my house at be out of hours too… I borrowed all the money I could but it still wasn’t enough… it was traumatising to witness it got so aggressive that her claw got hooked to her tongue … and the next morning I called the vet’s ( white cross vets) and told them everything that happened to my poor kitty mishka and they made me feel that it wasn’t them to blame when in fact it was as I did the research on the medicine they injected her with and it clearly said not to give to cats with liver issues which she had… i told them that since she had that injection she’s had a reaction and then they told me to bring her in and put her down… i had sadly no choice but to do that but if they had just not injected her with that medication that wasn’t suitable for her then my best friend would be with me here today … I didn’t want her to suffer anymore due to their mistake and I didn’t want to get In trouble if I didn’t take their advice… anyway while she was waiting to be put down they didn’t even make her comfortable or giver her water to hydrate or or put eye drops in her eyes… none of that … but just quickly rushed me to put her down as they were on schedule and I didn’t get to say goodbye properly ….

Took my dog in because of diarrhea – the whole appointment lasted barely 10 minutes, and I was charged £150! My dog got an injection, antibiotics, and a digestive paste which cost £22, even though the same type of paste is sold in pet shops and online for around £10. Absolute daylight robbery for such a short visit and overpriced medication. I understand vets are expensive, but this felt completely unreasonable. Very disappointed.

Very caring staff. I found a cat that had lost his life in a hit and run. The staff here were so sweet and had so much compassion and handled everything respectfully. Would recommend to anyone

Very caring ...fuss and interact with our cats... used this practice in its various 'ownerships' for well over 35 years . Colebrook is only place I would trust with our cats. Bryan is a gentle giant somewhst of a scardy boy ...put at ease and gently checked over. Highly recommended

Nice friendly place,small vet clinic with small reception but it is very nice and kindhearted stuff.Here you can find medicine and shampoo for your dog,anti flea products and some helpful things for cats and dogs.There is a parking for some cars. My mom lost a dog and this people helped us to find him healthy and happy.

Lovely vet, really friendly and gave good advise about my cat Smog, when I wasn’t sure whether his tooth was likely to need attention. It’s nice knowing it’s not something I need to worry about. Thanks so much, Ruth
