Excellent care on a Sunday in the early hours. Slight delay in being seen but not too long. We were made aware of the cost of the consultation (£350 as at June 2026) before bringing. Of course, there's no price on making your pet better, but I do think the cost is unnecessarily inflated. I think the medications and tests were as expected. The facilities are clean and the staff were fantastic so certainly worth the money.

All the staff where friendly and they delt with the emergency of our family dog very quickly and explained everything in detail and reassured us! And she had to stay over night with them and they looked after her very well and gave us updates on her through out her time there!. They saved her life and she's now doing amazing and recovering very well thankyou to these guys!

Whilst I was seen immediately on arrival, after visiting my own vet the next day it transpired that the anti inflammatory/painkiller injection given to my dog was too much for his weight (in effect an overdose) and was a cat medication not intended for or trialled on dogs. My Vet contacted Blaize to inform them and also spoke to the manufacturer. A blood test had to be performed on my dog in case of any internal damage. Luckily there was none. This could have been very serious for my dog and could have caused permanent damage to him. Very angry and upset. You are supposed to have faith in the Vets there giving treatment and trust that they are giving your pet the best advice and care. This certainly was not the case. I'm addition I had to pay for this!!! I have contacted my insurer with the claim but will certainly be seeking for Blaize to pay the £100 excess cost (or the full amount of my claim is refused)

Every member of staff was caring professional and attentive and put us completely at ease, even though it was a busy New Years Day and they were the only clinic open to see patients within a 40-minute drive. Our dog has a chronic illness and developed a fever while we were away for the New Year; the continuity of care from our regular vets to the out of hours clinic was totally seamless and he was seen and treated exactly the same as he would have been at home.

I have spoken to three different people in this department regarding my cat who has ingested lilly pollen and i’m in a state of deep stress. I have been told that the cost of helping her survive is prohibitive. The customer service was satisfactory but not particularly impressive. One person, Daniel Rushforth, provided exceptional customer service. When I called back after they had hung up on me he answered immediately and empathised with my situation. He gathered all the necessary information while maintaining professionalism. I was told that for this serious incident, it would cost anywhere from £315 (for the consultation) to £800 for the full treatment which is something I genuinely cannot even afford for myself. I am impressed by his enthusiasm for pets and the way he made me feel during the call. I will now be vigilant for any symptoms and will take her in immediately if anything occurs. I am happy to surrender her to you and care for her as £800 is close to my monthly wage. EDIT 72hrs LATER: she’s doing just fine. No treatment, just a nice cosey bed and food + water. She’s still thriving. This brings me back to the question… (they were going to charge me £800 for something they wasn’t even sure about…) Thank you once again Daniel rushforth, helped me differently❤️🤝

Can’t speak highly enough of the team. Having to rush your family pet out of hours over the christmas period to seek medical support was not on my list but the team were fantastic. Early days but August is back home and recovering ❤️🩹 The communication, commitment, support & professionalism was top class. 🙏 This is the second time we have had to rush a family pet in out of hours through illness so thoroughly recommend the team.
