Vile, evil and predatory place. I just lost my temper at the desk after wasting thousands, being given the run around and being coerced into paying for more tests for my sick pug who has a urine infection. After spending well over £1000 weeks were sent a final invoice of £460 for urine tests and this was when we decided to be done with this place. This is also despite there being virtually no other vet options living in Hatfield and previously travelling to Essex to have my dog seen to. So thousands of pounds later and after many tests, I was prescribed a medication that my dog cannot take by a new vet. I went to return it and beforehand my mother called and asked if refunds can go through via Apple Pay and the receptionist said yes (as I’ve actually sliced my physical credit card from being in debt to this place). Lo and behold, yes, you can guess what happens. The payment declines and I can’t get my refund and the machine said “insert card” twice. I don’t live near and due to my dogs condition we have to even pay for cabs to this money grabbing hell hole. I was given a fake apology in the most patronising tone and lost it and said why be on the phone to my mother 5 minutes ago saying contactless refunds work? I still stick by what I said that this vet puts PROFITS BEFORE ANIMALS no matter what other people say. It is also funny how most of the “positive” reviews are about having animals put to sleep. The receptionist even laughed in my face and patronised me when I said I’ve wasted thousands and my dog is still not better and after they couldn’t even refund me for a medication that my dog reacts badly to. I’m glad that I had my say and hopefully people will boycott this place. The receptionist even used the fact that a grieving couple being at the practice who had their cat put to sleep at the time against me, telling me “what I said was inappropriate” because I told them not to waste money here. So I shouted and said how was I supposed to know and that they don’t care about animals. I SAID WHAT I SAID irrespective of what’s going on around me and I will NOT be guilt tripped or gaslit. Period. They also don’t answer questions, it’s like vets are trained to squeeze as much cash out of people as possible and string you along in hopes of your beloved pet getting better. They’re also not transparent and slap on extra charges on the invoices (such as sedation) and are never clear on the costs. If you love your pets avoid this place. They also “offered” to remove the drip my dog would be on for one of the tests. Oh, how kind of them! Final note: it is also funny how they’re linked to Omni Finance - When you sign up under this financial company, you sign away ALL of your legal rights and can’t even be covered by a section 75 or receive help from the financial ombudsman. So if something goes wrong with your pet, they are NOT legally liable! That was the biggest red flag and it’s funny how they’re have that slapped there right in front of you at the desk and I wish that I raised by voice about this when I was physically there. There’s no compassion or love for animals and I am glad that I yelled this at front desk! Not even a glimmer of care for animals and it is heartbreaking! UPDATE: We got a letter from Terrance the manager about “abusive behaviour” with a borderline bribe to come back and “sort things out and get to the bottom of this”. We also have had to rehome our beloved Babygirl to a pug sanctuary where they fundraise to give the best possible chance for our girl as she could DIE from lack of access to decent vet care in this area. We can’t afford it anymore and are in debt because of this place. We do hope that you are pleased with yourselves! But I’d rather give my dog a chance than to be like a pushover like other people who visit this vet and are happy to PAY for the privilege of killing their own pet. Because that’s all this place is good for as mentioned before and all you have to do is read the other reviews.

The staff are rude, they havent a clue what they are doing. They didnt know I was a vet nurse and tried to tell me my dog was being aggressive and he needed a muzzle on. He clearly didnt, I just explained he was growling because hes a rottweiler. They didnt believe me

Thank you for being so kind. We recently attended this vets as our old bean kitty needed to be put down due to ill health. The staff were amazing, they allowed us time with our cat. They were helpful, didn't rush us and gave us all the options of what we could do. Today we were greeted with a beautiful card of condolences and it's honestly meant the world to us. We both struggled with the process but no one made us feel bad or rushed. Staff were understanding & kind. Thank you for caring.

We bought a new dog. We talked to a lot of veterinarians, but Vets4Pets was the one who gave us the most information. Welcome was very warmly welcomed at the desk. We bought a new dog. Our veterinarian Orabella greeted us with a smiling face and explained the whole process in detail. He carefully examined our dog. Thank you very much. We also say a big thank you to LORINDA in the shop section. She recommended us every product that might be necessary for our new dog, gave us detailed information and was really interested. I love people who love their job.

We have been registered with Hatfields Vets4Pets for a number of years and couldn’t be happier with them. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my old boy to sleep on the 28th because of a progressive disease that couldn’t be fixed. Our vet Orabella was absolutely amazing, she tried her hardest to find a solution but sadly, it was progressing quicker than we hoped, and she was there to comfort us as my boy passed in my arms. I have never felt pain quite like this, but thanks to all of the amazing staff at Vets4Pets, we had the support and comfort we desperately needed. We still have our two bunnies registered here and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thankyou Vets4Pets Hatfield for treating my boy with the dignity and respect he absolutely deserved.

Received letter offering 20% off dental procedures , naming my dog and the Hatfield branch. Phoned same day to book an appointment for treatment. To be told we are not excepting these vouchers , and to try another branch. Why send me this if I can't redeem voucher. Not very good customer service or professionalism.
