Receptionists were extremely helpful and made an appointment for me to see a vet the same morning. Vet was highly professional, kind and friendly. She was extremely knowledgable and resolved the problem that day explaining the treatment throughout the consultation. I felt reassured and my dog is now on the mend. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you.

Two staff at this practice helped us deal with a very distressing situation in the middle of the night with huge amounts of calmness, compassion, patience, and understanding. I regret not getting their names because I would like to thank them. I strongly recommend this practice if you sadly find yourself in a situation where you have to make heartbreaking end-of-life decisions.

An excellent vet practice with brilliant vets who are kind, compassionate and willing to work with the pet owners to get the best outcome for their animals. I cannot fault their care of my two rescue cats, and my previous foster cat who was under their care too.

On the 18th February, After pictures of how ill my dog was sent to combfield at 18:43. After a visit in the evening of the night before (on the tues)A very obnoxious rude non empathetic nurse, who was clearly looking for a row, told me no vet was on-site. I would have to wait an hour and she would get a vet to ring me after looking at the pictures The nurse said she wouldn't comment on the pictures sent. I had to wait for a vet "ive already told you" The obnoxious nurse was also on reception. That call never came in Lola, died at 315 am she had a horrible death biting her tongue, with yet another catastrophic brain seizure when she could have been a euthanised to save all the trauma that she went through that night. 2 people here witnessed this very rude uncaring and argumentitive nurse from 3 Countys evening shift phone call as on loud speaker Beyond angry.

Disgusting, money-grabbing practice. This practice is owned by IVC Evidensia one of the largest vet cooperations in Europe, my experience reflects this. I have spent thousands here over the years, including a surgery on my dog that was botched so badly it had to be repeated three times. The vet also didn’t bother checking my dogs history and prescribed her metacam when she has kidney disease - this is very hard on the kidneys. Recently, as a single parent, I asked for just one day’s flexibility, even though they knew I had insurance. This was flatly refused. The receptionist showed zero empathy, repeatedly telling me “you don’t need to get upset” rather than offering any understanding or support. No compassion, no loyalty to long-term clients — just payment over care. I would strongly caution anyone considering this practice to think twice.

We took our dog to this vet’s as he had itchy, flaky skin. They said he had an extremely rare cancer and put him through multiple tests to try to find a tumour. He developed an ulcer due to the steroids they prescribed and this nearly killed him. We were told this was a symptom of the cancer even though they hadn’t discovered any tumours. We took him home to die as we had run out of insurance and all interest in him ceased. Due to this lack of concern (and potential to earn more money) they omitted to let us know the results of a test indicated a skin fungal infection and not cancer at all. We discussed this situation at length with the practice; their only concern was payment. When challenged about the diagnosis they continually lied and told us they had never mentioned cancer. They didn’t apologise for the upset and worry they had caused, instead threatened to send our outstanding amount to a debt collection agency whilst the dispute was ongoing. Our dog remains fit and well. I would not recommend this practice.
