✅ Caring and compassionate team ✅ Quick and efficient treatment ✅ Great value pet care Our dog Foxi is a ten year old rescue from Spain who believes everyone she meets is her new best friend 🐕❤️ She used to have a habit of catching her dew claws, but had not done it for ages. Unfortunately, after confidently saying "she hasn't hurt her claw in ages", I immediately jinxed it. That very evening she snagged it while chasing a ball. I went onto the Kingfisher website, filled in the details and had an appointment booked for the very next day. When we moved to Chard from Nottingham, we arrived during the month Foxi was due her vaccinations, and with all the chaos of moving house it had slipped through the cracks. The team were fantastic from the moment we arrived, making a fuss of Foxi and helping her feel relaxed in the waiting room. We were quickly called through and her claw was sorted within minutes. What really impressed us was the practical approach. In our previous experience in Nottingham, this could easily have involved bandages, follow up appointments and a much larger bill. Instead, Foxi received excellent care, caught up on her vaccinations for a lot cheaper!🐾 The team are genuinely lovely, and they also offer a great monthly health plan for older dogs, which we have now signed up to. If you are looking for a friendly, professional and caring veterinary practice, we would highly recommend Kingfisher Vets. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a really positive experience at this vet practice. All the staff were friendly, kind, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The vet was especially knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, even sharing extra information I wasn’t aware of, which I really appreciated. I never felt rushed—he was patient and thorough, making sure both of my kittens were comfortable and well cared for. The advice he gave was excellent and really put my mind at ease. I’m very grateful for the care we received and would definitely recommend this practice.

All the staff are very professional and friendly. I have regular reminders for when vaccination, and flea and worm treatments are due. Appointments are readily available. The vet prescribed medication for my dog which she'll need for the rest of her life to help her mobility. He explained that it was very expensive to buy from them. So he prescribed a 6 day course to make sure she didn't experience side effects. Afterwards, I was given a 6 month prescription, which cost £31, that I can use online saving me a considerable sum of money. Given that veterinary care is notoriously expensive this has helped considerably and I am extremely grateful.

I would just like to thank all of the staff at Crewkerne, that helped my partner Mark and myself last night 17/11/2025 in poor old Sasha's final moments, all of the staff were so kind and compassionate, you certainly helped make her final moments calm and happy, what would we do without caring people like yourselves 💔 Thank you 😊

We found our semi feral farm cat in the house Sunday night. It appeared that both back legs were paralysed. It did not appear to be in any pain but just could not walk. Monday morning we rang Kingfisher and they gave us an immediate appointment, I would add that we are not registered with them. Brought the cat in and and after a shortish wait saw the vet. She gently examined KC and realised that the cat had a blood clot . And no blood was going to her legs. [I think we already knew this]. The vet gently told us that there was nothing that could be done as KC was at least 15 yrs old, but left the final decision to us. We agreed, of course that it was best for KC to be "put to sleep". We stayed with her until the end. The vet was kind, gentle and absolutely brilliant. The staff at reception, the vet nurse were all very kind. Would definitely recommend the vet practice.

I have given 5 stars as the staff are helpful and friendly. Was even encouraged to use other means of obtaining meds at a cheaper price. The vet was excellent at handling Maisie and explained everything very clearly. We left feeling very happy with our service.

Receptionist super helpful (kindly pushed my pram, whilst I carried our cats). Vet super knowledgeable & helped find the correct diet food for both our cats. The only small negative, appointment was late by 15mins. Other than that, highly recommend.
