Words cannot relay our true heartfelt feelings of GRATITUDE FOR the whole team who looked after our dog,(Jake Rottweiler). From the reception staff, RHODA, CARRIE AND ABBI To a brilliant Nurse called CHRISTINE ! and the VET, SAMANTHA (SAM) who was the lead vet in this case, and those in the background. Sorry we nearly forgot the vet CORDELLIA who discharged us. A truly amazingly, caring and a dedicated staff team, at the best veterinary hospital we've ever attended. We had a very poorly pooch and with the uppermost care attention, and knowledge, they got our Jake back to health and his normal self. (still some fur to grow back lol. The staff gave us a full explanation every step of the way. For anyone reading this I would definitely recommend the The Laser treatment 👌 for fast healing. Thank you All ❤️ from Jake's family Sent from Outlook for Android

I’ve been coming to this vet since I officially adopted my neighbour’s cat, Bailey, who was already a patient here. While I couldn’t be happier with this practice, Bailey would like it on record that he strongly disagrees. He hates the car and the vet so much that he transforms into a cat I barely recognise… growling, dramatic, and deeply offended by the whole experience. Over the past year I’ve seen several of the vets here, and every single one has been incredibly helpful and kind. They were especially amazing last summer when Bailey developed appetite issues due to a bowel condition. It was a really worrying time for me, but they always managed to fit us in, prescribe what he needed, and offer advice and reassurance until we finally got things under control. Today really summed up how wonderful this team is. On the way to a routine medication check, Bailey became extremely stressed and managed to vomit in his carrier, poo himself, and then thoroughly cover himself in it. By the time we arrived, I genuinely didn’t know where to start with the clean up operation! I asked if there was somewhere I could clean him up before the appointment, and a lovely vet nurse(I believe her name was Katie) immediately offered to take him out the back and clean him up for me. She did an incredible job, and I was so grateful for her help and kindness in what was a very stressful moment. On top of everything else, I find the prices here incredibly reasonable, especially in today’s climate. I honestly can’t recommend this practice highly enough — even if Bailey would prefer I didn’t.🐈⬛

Having gone through unbelievable problems with brucella canis with a local vet (including advice to have my dog euthanised ) Uwe Gerecke, Head Vet at Cornwall Animal Hospital, has been fantastic. His clear-headed approach has been a breath of fresh air and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

If i could give no stars i would. We sadly witnessed a pigeon being attacked by a seagull in our street, clever little thing with an injured wing managed to navigate across the road through traffic to a door opposite us to try get help. Being animal lovers as we are and not wanting the poor bird to suffer and die from an injured wing, we picked it up and placed it in a box. Hopped on the phone to try get help and was told to get it to this Vet and off we went, got there. Said hello to which a member of staff just abruptly/rudely walked past us, didnt acknowledge us at all, ignored our greeting (bare in mind, no one else was there and yes this was 30 minutes before closing so at 12pm) and I heard the same lady say to her coleague as we walked in " oh this must be the bird". Her colleague continued on a phone call. The same lady that had ignored our greeting and abruptly walked passed us now comes back and all she says without eye contact, no greeting, no nothing...."let me take a look" takes the box out of my hands and walks off. We left stood there, not knowing what to do...do we just leave now....? the colleague on the phone is now done with her call and also ignores us flat out, no greeting or acknowledgement - like we arent even there stood infront of her reception desk! So we ask....excuse me...do we just leave now? She then says "they're just taking a look at the bird". At this point were just glad the bird is being seen to and hope that it gets the treatment it needs and so we express our unhappiness with how we were rudely treated, not greeted and ignore and left. I have never left a bad review before now for any facility or business, but this was just unnacceptable. I cant understand why we were treated this way, was it a pest that we brought the bird in? Because there is no way on earth we would have just left it to suffer and die. I truly hope no one else gets to experience this, because as a pet owner I will never set foot in that facility and would rather drive further to get treated kindly and with common decency.
