Denton Veterinary Surgery

Was my first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised about how clean and nice the place was, the staff were very kind, the service was super quick, great vets!

I cannot speak too highly of the exceptional care afforded to our Border Collie, Alfie. He is an older dog and was clearly very poorly but the team at Denton Vets  (Richard), initiated a number of tests and was able to identify and treat the root cause of his poor health. The knowledge and technical care was second to none, as was the kindness and support of the reception staff. I can't speak too highly of the care that we experienced. I'm pleased to say that Alfie is almost back to his old self (old in both senses of the word). Thank you so much! Thank you!

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Denton Vets, especially Dr. Kristine. They have been incredibly caring and professional throughout a very difficult time. My elderly cat, Green Bean, was suffering from severe kidney issues, and Dr. Kristine explored every possible way to keep him comfortable and improve his quality of life. Although I eventually had to make the heartbreaking decision to have him euthanised, I’m truly grateful to have had the support of such a compassionate and dedicated team. Thank you so much!

Our beloved Philip had to be euthanised on 24/07/2025 and Denton Vets had to take this heartbreaking action. Philip has been our animal child for 17 years and that little body left a huge gap in our lives…Richard, Philip’s vet, assisted us immediately when we arrived at the vet and when our Philip let out his last breath, the team gave us all the time we needed, in the room with our Philip, to say our goodbyes. No pressure, just genuine understanding of the situation. A couple of days later we received a beautiful condolence card from Denton, handwritten. It is the little things that count during this incredibly painful time and Denton made our goodbye just that little bit easier. Thank you to each and every one of you. Richard, Kay, Simon, Dean, Jo, Sian, Megan and Sally. 🙏❤️.

Denton Vets are incredible! They exceeded all expectations for myself and my two boys in a less than ideal situation recently. Having had my cats neutered with them and then microchipped: they assisted greatly in the situation regarding who their chips were registered to (there was a criminal matter involved and is now resolved). They have been the most sympathetic and compassionate vets and I would highly recommend their services. Thank you Denton Vets!

We have always had a great experience at Denton. They genuinely care and provide a top notch service. Unlike some vets Denton don't go out of their way to find trivial yet expensive and long-term ailments with our cats (as some other vets seem to); we trust Denton more than other vets. There's a secluded cat waiting room for nervous kitties (see pic). Simon is great; friendly, extremely relaxed, down ro earth, professional, very knowledgeable... We don't go anywhere else, now we have Denton.
