How utterly sad that this once independent practice which always put the care of animals first is now owned by a money grabbing group called DNA Vet Care who like to promote themselves as an "independent" but are basically wolfs in sheep's clothing whose only drive is money!. I stood in this practice as a loyal 15 year old client to over hear the poor receptionist have to tell a loyal client he is no longer able to call and pay his bill once home but had to almost demand payment from him!. I am absolutely shocked that such an old school caring vet that Marcus is/was has basically sold his business to a company that clearly do not have the animals welfare as their first concern but are driven by profits. Please do not be fooled that this is a independent practice any longer because it is NOT. Also my bill 3 months ago for my animals medications used to be £54 when I ordered the same medication they wanted to now charge me £123-because DNA put a 100% mark up on their drugs and expect hard working loyal clients to just accept this........people will literally not be able to afford to treat their poorly animals and that is just awful. I hope Marcus you are aware of how utterly disappointed your loyal clients are in your decision. I will be finding a vets that do put animal welfare before profits. I also saw a FB post recently implying that Knotts Yard is still an independent practice which is not true and completely misleading to clients. They did not even have the courtesy to make it known that the vets had been sold-again misleading and absolutely disgraceful. I have always respected Marcus but I am shocked that such a caring vet who never put money before treating animals has handed this over to such a awful company.

called up and a very rude lady answered. was trying to ask a few question regarding prices of surgical procedures and was really just looking for some help. the lady asked for my last name and very rudely refused to answer any of my questions without even hearing them out first. told me in a rude tone to go and register my pets before i asked questions without explaining the process or anything to me. difficult to explain but her tone and demeanour was just really rude for no reason- even hanging up on me when i didn’t finish my sentence.

I wanted to send a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone at the practice. I recently had to say goodbye to two of my much-loved guinea pigs :( The kindness and compassion you showed me during both visits were truly phenomenal. Every person, from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, was incredibly kind and understanding. It is clear that you all love our pets as much as we do.
