Amazing. After long drive home from Yorkshire with our dog, got in to find a tick on him. (I can’t remove them). I rang to make an appointment and they said to get straight round. They were busy with emergencies but got a nurse to see him, who was so lovely and removed so calm and seamlessly. This practice are always so very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, I trust and totally recommend them ..

I want to share a review of the care for my cat. I was so very concerned when my cat's breathing became laboured but it was soon established he had a respiratory infection but when this cleared he was found to have a heart condition. Mark Freeman, the vet, treated Dougie with concern and respect and explained everything to me calmly and clearly which helped me feel very reassured. I'm.pleased to say now on medication Dougie is much better and happier. Thank you all so much Earls Hall Tina Harper

Greatest service. Walked in unannounced with an emergency and my dog was seen in minutes and received fantastic care. The cost was very acceptable too.

I was a client at Earls Hall for 40 years from the individual ownership days through to CVS. Gone are the times of feeling that your pet was truly valued. My much loved dog was very poorly and sadly euthanasia was the best option for him due to his illness and old age. I always knew that I wanted this to be in his own home. Unfortunately no vet could do this at home for two and a half days which I felt very let down by. I had to arrange this with a private vet who came to my home the same day. He gave him a very peaceful and dignified end. At the end of the day I am grateful for that but not to Earls Hall Vets whom I feel let my dog down and didn’t even contact me afterwards after 14 years of him being in there care. Would I use Earls Hall Vets again… No I would not.

I had a very poor experience with this clinic regarding pet travel arrangements. The initial vet went off sick just three days before our travel date, and no one was assigned to continue the process, leaving us completely unsupported. A laboratory system outage then delayed us by two weeks, yet each time I called for updates, I struggled to get any information until I escalated the issue to the area manager, who thankfully stepped in. We eventually secured a faster testing option, but only after significant resistance from the vet involved. While some factors were outside their control, the lack of urgency, initiative, and problem-solving from the clinic made the situation far more stressful than it needed to be. The service was also extremely overpriced, and the vet who took over dealt with me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I am grateful to the area manager for mediating between myself and the vet, but overall this was a very disappointing experience. We followed the correct process to claim back the expenses we lost due to poor service, but the practice showed no willingness to help or take responsibility. It’s deeply frustrating to see a place charge such high fees while delivering substandard care and customer service. I cannot recommend this practice. We felt overcharged, dismissed, and treated poorly from start to finish. A very disappointing experience overall.

I took my dog here for a reasonably low risk operation which went okay. My dog was there over night and the next day where he was not eating well or breathing well. On the 3rd day they advised us we could take him home which we did. As soon as he was home we noticed he still was not right and breathing was very laboured. We rang the vets again as we were so worried and was advised this was the side effects of the drugs they use during the operation and to bring him back in the morning. My dog wasn’t able to settle and we reluctantly took their advice and waited for the morning. Once back at the vets in the morning we were advised he had pneumonia and we may loose him. The vets tried to drain his lungs but that was unsuccessful and he had to stay there another night under supervision. We were advised if he deteriorated we would be called down to say goodbye. We received a call at 6:30 in the morning to say he had died of a sudden heart attack on his 4th birthday. 4 months later and we are still in shock and the whole family is devastated. I would never take my dog back here again as I believe their negligence killed my dog and for that I strongly advise to steer clear. RIP Hugo
