I cant fault fernside from Noel all the receptionists to Nurae Danielle. I have 2 cats I orginally had my 1st Lunar with Medivet and big mistake. Woth my 2nd cat Moon I went with my friends advice with fernside. They were so knowledgeable listened to me when I said after the neurting please give half of the food with some water. They listened. Medivet never listened. I'm so pleased with fernside and the fact Moon recovery from neurting is so good. I can't wait for the follow up on Thursday to thank all of them with being patient with me.

Once again, Fernside staff proven to provide 1st class Animal AND Customer care. Special thanks goes to Robyn, Fiona and extra special thanks to Chloe the veterinary Nurse who went above and beyond to treat my little pooch with outstanding professionalism and genuine care and love. My dog arrived seriously ill and without the extra effort, time, and care taken by these 3 amazing ladies, probably wouldn't be here today. I can not thank you enough xxx

I have been coming here for years and recommended this practice to many people. Every single visit is filled with kindness and compassion. From the moment we walk in, we feel welcomed. No matter who we see to look after our dogs, the service is always consistent and professional. The knowledge of every vet and nurse is exceptional. I feel the pricing is fair and we have even put our puppies on the monthly plan which is very good value for money. Fernside is not on my doorstep anymore but I am happy to drive further as I do not want to go anywhere else! Thank you :)

Once Again Robyn and her team have been amazing. Ging the cavapoo needed a small procedure and the care he received was first class. Fernside really are a first class Vet. I wish my own GP was as professional as Robyn. Highly Recommend.

A safe haven for a new kitten dad! What a lovely practice. From the reception team to the nurses and vets, everyone at Fernside Veterinary Centre radiates genuine care and compassion — it’s clear they’re in this for the love of animals. They’ve supported me every step of the way, from preparing for Poppy’s arrival to navigating those first weeks of kitten parenthood. Their guidance has been reassuring, their kindness unwavering, and their expertise invaluable. I feel truly confident moving forward knowing this wonderful team is in our corner.

Fernside have been extremely helpful & dependable with always giving good medication & accurate check-ups for my now-late dog. They always had a solution to a problem for me and had great communication with providing eye drops for my local chemist, and switching them out for others when required. Very welcoming and friendly staff who are always great to talk to. They gave us everything we needed from the start to the end

We had our cat there for nearly 11 years the practice was great, until complications with her thyroid, practice was good until they sold out to CSV in July 2025 who increased the prices by 70% and taking advantage sick pets. The company which has taken them over is currently investigation by the monopoly commission and BBC panorama did a documentary on them and the other equity firms over inflating the costs.
