My cat was neutered here, two days after her surgery she started having trouble breathing so I took her to this surgery to see if her condition was serious. Within minutes of bringing her in, they immediately asked us to pay them £300 for a single night’s stay without even checking her condition. She just passed away in my arms. Vets denied any sort of responsibility, saying her condition was unrelated to her neutering surgery even though she was genuinely the most energetic and healthiest cat I had ever seen in my life. Even if that was the case, HOW THE HELL DID YOU MISS THIS CONDITION WHILE CHECKING HER PRIOR TO HER SURGERY? First you kill my baby, and now you have the nerve to ask me for even more money to fix your mistake? HOW CAN YOU KILL A CAT FROM A NEUTERING SURGERY? It is clear that my cat had two possible causes of death - either this clinic did not diagnose a fatal condition she had during their diagnosis, or they botched the neutering surgery. Her blood is on their hands in either case. They care about money significantly more than they care about your animals’ lives. From what I could gather, they are owned by private equity, so they WILL prioritise money over anything, including your animals, to bring the most value to whoever owns them. They even let veterinary students practice there according to a sign in the reception. Would you be willing to pay these people to save your pet’s life knowing the surgery may be performed by a student just so the veterinary can get paid by whichever third grade school is paying them to take in their students? A genuinely evil business that I hope goes bankrupt in this economy so its greedy and worthless people can feel a fraction of the suffering my baby went through.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Forest Vets for the incredible care and compassion they showed during the euthanasia of my pet rat, Ronnie. I went in absolutely distraught, but the staff made him feel so comfortable and gave him the gentlest, most peaceful send-off I could have hoped for. A special thank you to the receptionist, who was so kind and calming from the moment I walked in, and to the main veterinary nurse, whose warmth and reassurance meant the world. Their empathy made an unbearably difficult moment so much softer. I’m truly grateful for everything they did for Ronnie and for me.

The staff made me and my dog feel so welcome and the vet took the time to gain my dog’s trust before examining her. All the time the vet was explaining and informing me of the procedure and always put my dog’s welfare first. Would definitely recommend this surgery.

Brought my dog here after worrying for his health since he was breathing heavily while wheezing and this was the nearest veterinary clinic. After a quick diagnosis I was told that his condition wasn’t serious and he just needed to be given some medication. His situation didn’t improve afterwards so I brought him to another vet, and that vet found that my dog had lung bullas and that his condition would’ve been fatal had he not been treated. I do not know what sort of a vet you have to be to so casually misdiagnose a huge dog like mine who has a serious condition, but I would heavily recommend against taking your pets here if you care for them.

Both vets are lovely as well as the rest of the staff. They really care about your pets and have always gone above and beyond with my cats care. One of my cats was very poorly as a kitten and had 2 life threatening illnesses, but he is now a healthy and happy boy thanks to them. Couldn't recommend more!

My 6 months old and perfectly healthy cat, Miffy died after being neutered here. All they care about is money, they don’t take responsibility for consequences of their actions. Please avoid if you care about your pets well being.

I cannot fault the superstars that work at this practice. They gave our Chihuahua Loki the highest level of care. Our vet in particular was so gentle and always supportive, arming us with all the information for us to make informed decisions when Loki lost his sight suddenly 7 months ago. You can learn through education but a kind heart and gentle bedside manner cannot be taught - we appreciated her kindness so much. Sadly we had to say cheerio to Loki yesterday and I cannot thank all the staff enough for making what was the hardest day for us so peaceful and perfect for our boy. We miss him terribly but take solace at the fact he had the best care from you all. Thank you for everything x
