I called them on 14th Jan as a fox was hit by a car 5 minutes from their Charlton branch. This was after 7PM so one of the only vets still open. The receptionist was uncaring and refused to help showing no emotion or concern towards the fox. Despite being reminded they have a duty to help wildlife and at least provide pain relief. She checked with her colleagues and still came back and refused. I managed to find another vet further away who cared enough to treat this poor animal. I would never recommend using this awful place as they are evidently only interested in making money.

I had a really positive experience with Conor. He took over my cat’s critical care last week and was excellent throughout. He handled my cat very calmly and carefully, which made a stressful situation much easier. Conor was also very thorough in explaining everything — he took the time to go over the details clearly, repeated key points so I could write them down, and made sure I understood all the options available. He also walked me through the different prescription diet solutions and explained why each might be appropriate. I really appreciated how patient and reassuring he was, and how much care he showed both my cat and me. Highly recommend.

This is the third time I’ve left feeling really upset, and unfortunately it’s time for me to change vets. I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment due to an Uber driver refusing to take me with my very small pet. I understand transport issues aren’t the clinic’s responsibility, but when I arrived, I was told my appointment had been given to the person before me and there was no flexibility to see me in the next slot. I was asked to rebook for another day, despite already being there. What upsets me most is not just this situation, but the overall lack of humanity I’ve experienced over time. The prices for medication feel excessive, and the approach increasingly feels more about money than care. Even though vaccinations are included in the monthly care plan I pay for, the service itself feels rushed and transactional. I don’t want to argue or go back and forth; I’ve simply decided it’s time to move on. I’m leaving this review so others can make an informed decision and hopefully avoid similar experiences.

I found the veterinary staff and receptionists to be extremely helpful, informative and professional. I have a regular appointment for my pet bunny and the staff are always very attentive and helpful. It be difficult to find vets who do teeth incisor trims without anaesthetic - so really grateful to the team here.

We have been going here for 1.5 years, and our experience until today has been great. It is more expensive than other practices I have been to, but convenient, and the staff we encountered have been great. The receptionists are wonderful, the reminders for flea and worming are super useful, and until today, our experience with the vets had been only positive. Today my dog Winnie found and ate a small piece of a chocolate muffin on the street. I contacted the vets and they asked me to bring her down, which I did. I was then told it would be £200 to make her vomit, and was not advised on the actual risk to her of having ingested the muffin - I was simply told they take a no risk approach. That is fair enough, but when I expressed concern about whether it was really necessary to put her through that, I was immediately met with judgment and it was insinuated I was gambling with my dog’s life. It was a small piece of muffin. Was the risk nil - no - but any treatment has to be considered in context. No accommodations were made for Winnie who is an anxious dog and doesn’t like the vets - I explained she is better examined on the floor (as discovered by another vet at the same practice) and he scoffed. The entire appointment was incredibly uncomfortable, transactional, and I felt no kindness or reassurance from the vet - no humanity. Just - pay £200 or get out. I of course ended up paying a £60 consultation fee anyway for the pleasure - and cried in the parking lot. I have had dogs my whole life - I should have trusted my instincts and not taken her down. I hope the vet can be more empathetic next time.
