To say how disappointed I am with my recent experience would be an understatement. After 8 years of being a client and having all 3 of my pets registered and having spent the best part of £15,000 over the years in treatment and pet plans, they refused to take back and refund me for medication my cat was prescribed after she had a reaction to it after taking one tablet. £85 for 1 tablet and she is no better off. Was told they don’t accept unsealed medication back, it’s in blister packs? The capacity of its unsealing was the paper bag and generic cardboard box I was given. My kitty is a little old lady and that £85 could have gone towards an alternative to actually keep her out of pain instead of being told to see how she is in a couple of days and come back. Then I will need to pay another £74 for that as well. People are not all just made of money in the current economic climate and throwing £80 worth of medication in the bin? Might as well have thrown some cash in the toilet. Will be finding a new vets that at least shows some compassion and a little bit more understanding to a clients situation instead of a corporate approach to the care giving of people beloved companions. Don’t even get me started on how much the emergency team that use the hospital wanted when my dog had an accident in the park on a Sunday So upset 23/02/26 Now editing this review as Cleo has sadly left this world and crossed rainbow bridge last night. She simply did not recover and it was the kindest thing to do for her. Credit where credits due the vets now team were kind and compassionate and made sure she was comfortable in her final moments absolutely heart broken 💔

We came to this practice late last year as our rabbit had become very unwell, and we could not find the cause. The vet told us that our rabbit had abscesses on both his ears and we were quoted around £1,300 for the operation. On the day we picked him up from the operation we were surprised that only one ear had been operated on, and the vet told us the other ear was more mild and it didn’t need to be cut open and they tried clearing it another way. 6 weeks passed by and our rabbit became very sick again, and the ear which was not operated on had a huge abscess on it - an indication it was not cleared the first time. We asked to see the vet’s ASAP but they demanded we pay the £75 consultation fee despite it being an existing issue which was related to a decision they made, despite us paying a huge amount to our rabbit to have the operation. Our rabbit died the next day, and we were quoted £300+ for a solo cremation. We went with another vets in the area instead for half the price. After writing a complaint to the vets about the fact that the abscess not being cleared properly, and being forced to pay more money to talk to the vet about it, we were told the vets have done nothing wrong and we should be grateful because we were not charged when previous appointment times had run over. No acknowledgement was made on the fact that a corner was cut, my rabbit did not get the full operation we paid for, got sick again weeks later because of this and then died. If you want to use a vets that genuinely cares for the animals and not just about squeezing as much money out of you as possible then I strongly recommend you avoid this place. We have paid them nearly £2,000 to date and all just ended up with us losing our beloved pet.

DO NOT GO HERE! After being a loyal client for years and spending a significant amount of money here for my three dogs, I have officially lost all trust in this practice. My recent visit on Sunday 8th April, was the final straw. Not only was the staff’s behaviour unprofessional and stressful, but the advice given was highly questionable. Furthermore, I’ve noticed a consistent trend of overcharging at every possible opportunity like this latest one when we were quoted almost £4,000.00; (I have since asked another 3 practices and they were all quoting for the same works between £1,500.00-£2,500.00). It is disappointing that after years of supporting this clinic, I am treated this way. I have moved my dogs to a new practice that prioritizes animal care over profit.

We found one of our three cats "Pepper" immobile, low heart rate and eyes flicking like seizures outside. We rushed her to the nearest Vets. Park Vets. I actually work very local and so knew of them however I'd not heard amazing things. Let me put that straight. I was told over the phone to say it was an emergency I walked in holding Pepper and was ushered through immediately by a lovely lady at reception. My wife drove and I had my two young daughters with me. As I don't drive we had no choice like it or not my kids were having to go through this too. They were naturally upset. Lady on reception ushered us through to a dedicated room and offered my girls drinks. Pepper was already being seen by the vet who'd been taken and was being checked. The team at Park Vets Sidcup guided us through every step of the way from entering the Vets to leaving. They helped arrange/did everything from outstanding customer service to above and beyond for us in terms of giving us every single option and ensuring we knew how to access it. Pepper sadly had a turn for the worse, she'd had seizures on way to the vets. We knew what little hope was left was futile. However worth trying for. After the latest turn their truly was nothing they could do bar offer pain relief. I signed the consent and she was put to sleep 30th December 2025. I cannot thank the receptionist, girl who helped us with paperwork and both vets we saw enough and I'm sure their were people behind the scenes who deserve credit too. Thank you. You guys were awesome. Thanks for making Peppers last moments gentle ones. 5 stars.
