I highly recommend Gatehouse to anyone I speak to as every interaction I have ever had with them has been great. No task is too big and all the staff seem to go over and above expectations, and all with a smile on their faces. Even my pooch is happy to come to the Allerton Surgery as we are always greeted with very happy friendly members of staff 😁

THEY KILLED MY BABY THEY ARE A MONEY MAKING PLACE! believe my cat’s death was the direct result of negligence at your practice. My cat was given an injection despite staff stating they did not know what was wrong with her. We were not allowed to be present in the room during this procedure. My cat was extremely fearful and would never allow an injection without distress, which leads me to believe she was handled roughly to administer it. Before this injection, my cat was alert and appeared stable. A scan was carried out, and we were told everything looked fine. She was then sent home. Shortly after, her condition deteriorated rapidly, and when we returned to the practice, she was clearly dying. She was left unattended for approximately five minutes without urgent care. No clear explanation was given as to how or why she died. The staff present appeared very young and inexperienced, which further raises concerns about the level of care provided. And they had the nerve to say u need to pay a bill after she died that was 600. As a result of this, I have lost my beloved pet. My family and I are devastated, and we will be escalating this matter to the appropriate authorities and pursuing legal action.

The practitioner here called Laura, I genuinely believe she is the best person to look after your animals. You will find no better person when your animal is in need. She should be being paid at least double whatever she is being paid now.

My pet chicken got peritonitis in may I took him to bingley branch she wasn’t in pain or anything so he told me to bring her back once she stopped eating. £60+pound that was . As time went on I phoned the vets to bring her in as she started go down hill I asked for a price without a consultation he said £85 I said I didn’t need a consultation as the vet said just bring her back to put her to sleep the receptionist said hang on I’ll find out the price without a consultation he came back with a price of £55 so I made the appointment at Bingley when I went to pay they said £85 ? I explained to her that I was given a price of £55 and she checked and said well sorry but it’s £85 she said they must have told you the wrong price?? So I had to pay this amount. This is not acceptable as the price I was given was accepted this is soo wrong wasn’t happy bad enough loosing a pet then given this . So I will not be going to the vets again with other pets .

Absolutely appalled with the malpractice that has taken place, I brought my cat in who had recently given birth and her 6 kittens they were aware she was breastfeeding. She had been sneezing and had a sore throat they told us she had cat flu and prescribed her antibiotics that should NOT have been given to a cat that is feeding her babies as it stated on the box as well as tablets that were EXPIRED!!!!! I raised a complaint no one got back to me, due to this we lost all 6 kittens!!! So disgusted and distraught over the neglect of this vets actions, no remorse or care for their actions, do not go to this vets!!!!
