A great team all round, who work well together providing a really caring service for my dog, from minor to more serious treatments, giving useful advice and reassurance and treating him with great affection.

I was a veterinary nurse in the US, so when my husband and I decided to adopt two kittens, I took my time choosing a vet practice. I looked at multiple websites, reviews, offered services, etc…and decided on Garston. This is an incredible veterinary hospital. The receptionists, nurses, and veterinarian are extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and compassionate. My boys were neutered today, and we just picked them up. Sophie, the nurse who did our intake and discharge made the process both easy and seamless, and the boys were absolutely cared for extremely well during their surgery and stay in the hospital. I’ve dealt with, and worked in, many veterinary practices over the years, and I’m very very happy we chose Garston to be our vet.

Reception staff friendly, bit of a wait past my appointment time, the vetinerary nurse who saw me explained fully the process of what was going to be done to my pet; and she was friendly and showed empathy in how I was feeling.

I’ve been with this practice for 45 years (previously Glenleigh) and in the past I have said that I wouldn’t go anywhere else but after recent visits to Garstons Trowbridge I have been disappointed, in particular with the lack of detail given on the invoices. If we were paying an invoice from a garage, electrician or plumber we would expect to see detail of what we were being charged for. The vet will have created an entry on the animals record so the hard work has already been done. For an insurance purposes that detail would have to be entered on the claim, so why doesn’t Garstons include the detail on invoices as well. Surely the paying customer is entitled to have something in writing?
